    I just feel bad for Monty. Sure he isnt the top goalie but look at the save he has to do with open shots, uncovered players. The defense is bad, like real bad. I would turn into Hextall so fast having to guard that net.

    Why are 8 & 48 playing together? Matheson is not the toughest guy protecting the net and Hutson is a kid trying to move bigger men. Mismatch all day long. I hope this experiment ends soon. Dach....go to Laval and get some confidence going and get back in shape there.

      The Adam Lowry Jets goal was a total embarrassment. Lowry just looked at Hutson and the poor kid almost fainted in the crease ~ and it's not just about size. Remember undrafted Lyle Odelien who was only 5'9??? Odelin would have punched Lowry in the mouth. Hutson is small and weak and you can never ever ever change that

      @@youthinkyouknowme5551 wait.... let me me see if I understand what you are saying properly... a rookie with 30 games under his belt should know exactly how to handle a vet with 750 games of experience the first time they ever meet? You realize he is an... offensive defensmen right? His game does not revolve around his physical abilities, yet if you watched the habs, play you would know he is playing some of the best defence on the team currently. Odelin was not neccessarily known for his point getting abilities either... two different playstyles. Get yourself checked out bro all you can do is hate.

    Winnipeg's special teams were the difference in this game. My Habs had a 2-man advantage for 90 seconds and were still unable to score against a team whose penalty killing has been one of its few weaknesses so far this season.

      @Paul-fg6mk 15 годин тому

      @@rob6927 Your judgment is premature. Wait two more years before passing final judgment. We still don't know how Reinbacher will turn out. Michkov may disappoint in the near future. I would not say that Slafkovsky was a mistake, but it is surprising that he was a first pick. In a year or two, when the Canadiens are hopefully on the right track, he could be a strong asset to the team because of his huge size.

    • @torontoMapkeLeafsSUCK1967
      @torontoMapkeLeafsSUCK1967 14 годин тому +2

      @rob6927 I don't agree bcos in the background you really don't know what's going on. Not many players want to play in Montreal bcos the language issue & the taxes especially US born players, they don't want their kids goto French school. Theres also issue of NO Canadian team win the cup. & the pathetic refs tend to against Canadian teams. it's REALLY hard for any Canadian teams to win.

    • @rob6927
      @rob6927 14 годин тому +2

      @Paul-fg6mk Sorry, but if someone is averaging almost a ppg in his first season and playing the way Michkov has been playing - he scored several OT goals already. Slafkovsky doesn't even get to play in OT.
      I really don't think that will be a disappointment 🤷‍♂️
      Now, 2022 was an exceptionally weak draft class, probably due to all the extraordinary circumstances at that time, like Wright before they scratched him seemed completely lost on the ice.
      Cooley seems like he will be the best player of that class, but the point is that now even Wright woke up after they scratched him, it's like a completely different player.
      And it's not just Slafkovsky, look at #2 overall pick another slovakian Nemec, he's already in the AHL, MTL's second pick #26 overall another fellow slovakian Mesar, didn't even play a single NHL game yet...
      And if size is his only asset, which seems like that, then that's like having an overpaid Rempe 🤷‍♂️
      But then it's on the management - everyone who was involved in making him #1 pick, giving him a big contract prematurely and not picking Michkov has no competence. Period.

    This was a good game to watch! For such a difference in points, the Canadiens played very well and were in the game all the way! Fast paced and good goaltending by both teams!
    The only down thing was the officiating! Both coaches had cause for complaint! The refs have got to stop calling these ticky tack penalties and then not call legitimate penalties that are far more flagrant and deserving of a call! Instead, the refs call a tug on an elbow and not call a huge crosscheck in front of the net..... either net!

      Price would’ve actually won a cup in 2018 if he was with the jets sit down you all failed him wasted his entire career 😂

      @@BlackRooster187-thank God we have a PAST to live on. Does your franchise have any?
      Let's say the present, we are equal unless the jets win the cup.
      & we certainly ahead in the future since our team is the 2nd youngest & we still have 2 first round coming this draft.
      PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE. Take your pick. 😂😂😂

      Would've, Could've ...... I'll give you a cup. Happy now. The jets never win a third round playoff series like the MF Maple Queefs 😂😂
