Not only is this helpful but I ordered this throttle because I knew I could set it up for the CRJ with your instructions. Got it today and it works great! Thank you!
IT WORKS! The trick here was setting the "idle reverse thrust" to 1000 and not the default 2000. I read heaps online, no where else did I find this. Works now, thank you. very much
Thank you so much! This throttle works perfectly on the Fly-by-wire A320NX but not on the official Asobo version that comes with MFS! They must be a bug on their plane!
My TCA throttle quadrant is responding backwards. When I go to full power to set the detent it acts as if it is set in reverse thrust and when in reverse thrust it is acting as if it were in full power. Do you know how to fix this issue if so I would greatly appreciate it
same, hope to see an answer from anyone. My full power shows negative numbers and reverse thrust in positive numbers. If I select reverse axis it works on power but no reverse. I need to work out why my TCA throttle is ending negative number.
Hello, Rather helpful video reset sensitivity. But then when I put reverse axes on both am getting values inverted so that from idle to Max P all are negative and then reverse is + thatwhy making everyone overlaps. Should this be set w/out reverse axes, I read smwh. that is related to something r/t polarity not really our axes ..?
Very good,Thankyou! Ialso had big issues getting it to work, saw a similar vidoe yesterday that help me out. I still cant get the flaps/speedbrakes to work via my Thrustmaster airbus package on the CRJ, have you manage to work that out yet??? I am wondering if the next updates from Areosoft/Asobo studie will help out some ???
@@UniformAlpha320 Thank you for answering me, it seems like most of the function on the TCA Q-Eng, do not communicate very well with the CRJ. When i look at photo on the controls page for the TCA Q-Eng 1&2 it is only the throttle hardware that is pictured, the flaps -landing gear- speed brakes -parking brakes are not there. Do you have the full set ?
@@anbrod1 if you have just the TCA side stick and throttle quadrant (like me) and not the air brake and flaps module , then your flaps and speed brake will be mapped to the side stick not the throttle quadrant. I use the side stick buttons for flaps and the hat switch for trimming. I also use the throttle lever on the side stick for air brakes. That works nicely as a speed brake lever.
@@UniformAlpha320 But i do have the full hardware set, wondering if it is a update from FS2020/Aerosoft that is missing?? after all it is very new in the sim, hoping a next update may solve the issue.
I have fsx steam adition, any sugestions regarding setting this up, no buttons work and the throtle wont work properley, any help would be appriciated.
Thanks for this helpful video….but after following this exactly I find my throttles work in exactly the opposite way !! When I advance the throttle to full power it engages reverse and as for the calibration on the crj pad…just get loads of overlap error messages…very frustrating hobby this 😩😩
Note to the guys who found this one not working, please make sure to click "reverse axis" in the options. it's weird, it shouldn't be like this but this is how I solved.

Thank you for your helpful video! I noticed that when you put the physical throttle all the way back in reverse, the one in the simulator actually stays in the idle position with the thrust reversers in the up position. You can also see this in your video. Is this an expected behavior?

Just found this! Awesome!!! Thank you! Can you do a video on Flybywire’s new Development version’s iPad throttle configuration tool? I keep getting an overlap error and can’t configure the TCA Airbus quadrant...
Is this just for this mod, or do all of the default content airplanes require special adjustments for them to work properly with the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant? (I'm ordering one from Amazon).

sheeeshh Jeff?!
you have saved me from so much frustration, thank you so much
You are the FLIPPING BEST BRO!!!! It worked like a charm!!!
Good work mate ! Lost my config are restored as per your instructions :) Just need to sort out the reverse thrust now
Have you sorted out the reverse thrust yet? Im yet to find a solution.
This was a big help. Had to do the setup in the sim option 2x but it worked.
Thank you, that works fine for me. Espacially to reset the sensibillity.
I really think about buying that combo Thrustmaster Airbus soon . Look very nice
It sure is. Gives you the real Airbus feel for sure and works well with other airplanes too.

Yes that is how it actually works
I’m getting negative value for climb, toga, max power . I have done exactly same step as you . What is missing
Try starting over again by making a fresh copy of the default A320 throttle profile
It worked fine
Thanks !
Thanks 🙏. Perfect 🤩 next task (for me not you )engine switches hopefully that’s simple.
Thanks. Love you mate 👍
Can u please do it for the cj4,, its driving me nuts

You need to adjust it for almost every type of airplane. But you can make profiles and switch easily.
