Constructional critique:" please don't put so much gel in the hair that's never coming out again it will build up and grow mold. You don't need any gel because knots are formed by the hook. Please don't pull the hooks away from the scalp. That's why it hurts. When you pull towards the scalp the knots are formed towards the scalp and you don't just rip out the hair. And never work the lock up and down. Work in one direction only. From the scalp up. And leave it because when you start at the scalp and pull towards it then move up the dread you make one continuous knot. When you then start working back down towards the scalp you basically rip apart the before formed knots and rip the hair apart and the lock gets weaker. And please no gel. Especially on wicks. It will not come out again and he has to start the hair growing process from scratch." Not criticism to make anyone mad it's criticism to improve your clients hair health.
Thank you soo much! Im thinking maybe i should only use the gel on dreads? It makes the buildup in the locs break down allowing moisture and the good oils to get into the hair. Also allows for them to be softer so there is no tearing or pulling. Text my instagram @thewicktrap i have further questions
@@thewickprincess spray n loc look it up, no residue build up great hold and the oil isn't heavy very light and smells like orange. It's all I use in me in my husband locs, trust me u won't regret I, and it's natural

Have a question my wicks after like a week or so after I get them done they come undone from the roots and only like 1/2 of the wick stays solid do u know what could be the problem?
@@jessicathompson9375 if its super curly i use a teasing comb, i tease, then knot it up. Or i just use the different type of hooks until its tightened to my desired tightness
