- With the actual construction of the Catamaran complete, the internal fitout is in full swing. The entire interior is about to get a massive facelift with wood finishes and laminex veneers. It's a massive job but the result is spectacular. Thanks for joining in. Rossco

Ross I can’t believe you don’t have 100,000 subscribers. You are doing a super job!!!
Mate I appreciate that sentiment, maybe just a boring middle aged couple building a dream.Who knows.Rossco
Ross, the good news and bad news of building your own boat, is when your at sea and something breaks - you can't blame the factory. At least you know it was built with quality and quality control. - Just think back when you came up with the idea of building your own boat - all the promises you gave Janet for the future. You're a Lucky Man, Mate!
A-men we will see .
Hope not
mate, looks great. Surely you deserve an air-con!
Looking fantastic Rosco. Such a great job.
I enjoy y’alls hard work
Thanks mate
Great stuff, well done!
Looking great
Getting close now Rossco- I think I can smell salt water!
Great idea with the thickened epoxy no voids and it will fill any imperfections ( not that there any )
Looking good Rossco! 👍
Good onya Bruce, had to ho with the plastic veneers, not up to your beautiful woodwork mate.
Looking good and Janet you must love that man to put up with him 😂
Haha, Janet is a lucky woman mate.
Looks a different boat with that trim
Way to go Ross. You guys rock.
Ur boat looks awsom rosco. Beautiful job
Looks sooooo nice Your doing good!!
Cheers mate
Rossco; completing one room at a time was never an issue with me. In a production line you have several workers and each has a specific focus so completing huge sgments is much faster but your project is more a labour of love and your methods have been spot on. :)
Getting exciting now Ross and Janet. Cant wait for Splash Down.....
Thanks mate, moving ahead.
Really great to see your progress.
Hi mate. I have followed your channel from the start.
I think you, your family and the friends that have helped are fantastic.
You are so focused.
Take care mate
Thanks Matt, it has been a family effort, we are very fortunate to be able to keep it moving.Gettung close now.
Wow!
Progress really happens quickly on some of the projects. Must give you huge inspiration and motivation to push on. Looks fantastic!
Such a boost of inspiration to see the finished look takecshape. Thanks Pat.
Coming up a treat, crew
Cheers Ben, appreciate you watching mate.
Love the idea to use epoxy for the panels. Almost impossible with contact adhesive to be accurate. Only one chance. Must seem like massive changes in few days. Wow effect.
The epoxy and laminex also adds essential a bit more structure to an already beef up bulkhead, so that would be a good thing any way.
Fantastic, really coming on and looks factory
I agree, the detail has been tricky to say the least but moving forward is the only way.Rossco
Looks amazing.
Cheers mate
Rossco, a man of all trades. It is fantastic how this one is up to tackle every aspect of this project. Too, having pu together an amazing team is itself a measure of the man.
I've been watching your videos for a long time and you and your family are amazing.
I have been puzzled for a long time why you don't have more subscribers. Your channel is as good as the Tally Ho project. So I really don't get it it.
But I'm watching and I am very thankful for the work and quality that you and your family have achieved.
Thank you!
Thanks so much Kelly, we don't understand either. There is clearly an algorithm glitch that doesn't appreciate middle aged Aussies. Thank you so much for following along , we really appreciate it.Ross
woodworking is very very good! Congratulations to the whole team and koodos to all of you for being able to put up with Rossco hahahahahahahahaha. Lol. Ttfn
Dont apologise for building the boat and not buying one mate ! I would have had to watch TV every Thursday or Friday if i couldnt watch your adventures on UA-cam !!😂😂Cheers Rossco hope we can catch up again soon !
Onya Mervyn.
I decided to replace the frayed upholstery in our Pacemaker, but it was in the 90's (32+ in 'upside-down land') for both temp and humidity on the canal. I took the AC unit out of the window in the spare bedroom and set it on the cabin top with a 'cardboard' tunnel ducting the cold air into the cabin. Got the temp down to 78 (25C) and lowered the humidity to the point that I hated to have to go outside for any tools, and, of course, I brought the esky full of ice and brews inside with me. Strange how a two hour job of sliding on new covers took two days... 🥶😵
looks great! 😀 80% there. Final stretch!
Adding color and contrast. The vertical lines give a sense of height.
I agree Roland, there is a nice contrast against the white modules.
looking good from this side of screen, must REALLY look great when you right in front of it. thks
Roscoe that is coming on fantastic. On the subject of buying the boat or building it - you are producing a high quality boat -but if there are any problems down the line you know exactly who to blame.😉 There are just so many horror stories on YT (mainly but not exclusively - South African production facilities).
Maximising batch production methods are definitely the way to go (as far as is practical) and especially so when you can get friends and family doing the batches.😉👍⛵️
Thanks Norman, I have been watching the horror stories of warranty problems with interest and feel for those that cannot resolve issues with the manufacturers.Enjoying the fitout process although very fiddly.Ross
looking great.
It's looking fantastic! I see the light at the end of the tunnel. 😊✌️
Looking fantastic mate would love to be there when you float it
Cheers Gaz
It’s a work of art! I totally get it. Keep up the great progress,we’re all here for you. Looks amazing. Don’t forget to have a beer or two to celebrate your progress 🍻👍😃❤️💯
Cheers buddy, very happy with the overall look and feel.
Ross!
I can't say another thing!
PERFECT!!!
A Very very great wooden job!!!
Thanks Juan, we are so happy with the overall look.Rossco
I'm glad you are finally able to see the finished results of all your work. I found your channel about a year into the project (when it had the old name). I went back to the beginning to get caught up and have not missed a week since. I have been amazed and inspired by your drive throughout, even when it was tedious, endless work. Now you can see it.
But... it might have gone faster if you worked more than 20 or 30 minutes a week 🤣
Kitchen fitters use a laminate trim bit in a router doesn't chip but produces a nice fair flush edge
Wooden you believe it starting to look tree mendos Ross you and your family and friends should be proud of you have and are going to achieve ⛵️⛵️
Seeing the massive issues with lagoon delaminating building your own seems more bulletproof. The industry needs more regulation for unsafe building practices.
Well done Ross ,you're an inspiration.regards
Nothing points toward job completion like adding the paneling and trim work! That changes everything!
Thanks for the comment. The laminex panelling certainly lifts the whole interior.
Another 1 year build your a brave man🤣🤣🤣🇦🇺🇦🇺
Who knows mate I am known for pushing it, but it may be fatal.Rossco
Countdown !
This is really coming together for you guys and is looking pretty sharp. Still wondering what you are going to name her?
Great progress ! Do you know how you are going to name this beautiful boat yet ?
We still have no name, although I have many unrepeatable names.
Loving the woodworking.
Great fun Kevin.
Why did you decide to use “thickened” epoxy verse just rolling out a thin even coat on the laminate? Never thought of using epoxy for that. Thanks.
Way harder and bonds better to gel coat probably
😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍👍👍
What are your chances of launching this year? Do you have a name yet?
Pretty good Will, lots to consider before making a commitment, but there is a glimmer of hope.
So what is the next poject you seem to be a person that has to have something to do anything over a week on the boat you will be losing your mind. I could be wrong
