Hi Leandro. Thanks for your videos. They are really helpful. One question: I'm using a M241 and a TM3AM6 Analog I/O module. I know I can add it manually to my project by adding it to the IO Bus and choosing it, but is there a way of autodetecting the connected devices once you are logged to the PLC? I can see that ME detects that the configuration is wrong but it doesn't say which module is connected. Thanks!
Hi there! There are function blocks that allow you to check status of the module connected but even if the plc detects a wrong configuration we need to manually configure the hardware.
Hi Yaroslav Lyulko! I am not 100% sure if i can give you a number for this but if you check the resources on the ethernet port you should be able to see the ethernet load. This will give you an idea in the m262 software.
Hi, Leandro. In my case I want to expand the ethernet 2 port (I have a M251) cause I'm using the controller as a ModBus TCP Client and the ethernet port 2 is already been used to control a UR3 Robot (Server), but I want a second ethernet 2 port to connect to another device (another server), wich expansion module can I use? I found the TM4ES4 module, but I saw that it is not configurable with Machine Expert when using M251 (It doesn't show in the modules tab), so It works as Ethernet 2 or only as Ethernet 1 when we couple it in the controller? How can I specify the type of ethernet in the module when coupling like that? Gracias in advance.

how many TM3BCEIP can by connected to M262?

Hi there! You can extend the network by using a switch connected to the eth2 or adding the TM4ES4 without any configuration in the software.
The only “problem” is that you need to physically link the module to the plc using a ethernet cable
