Hi Leandro, me again, love these videos and they have helped me greatly with me adding additional functionality to my HMI program, i have a question regarding Export Data/Export Status no.1) has the new update of EOTE in regards to export data put a block on starting the HMI program is data storage is set to USB storage and no USB is present? seems to be the case and i have to revert back to internal storage to get the program to load (an error message to that affect is shown) no.2) do you have a video on Export Status yet? looking to add function to my trend screen when running export command, would like to show if successful or not and give error code if usb is not present or corrupt etc. TIA sam

Hello, Leandro! An error occurred when adding HMIET6400 in the Expert Machine v2.2 program. Vijeo Designer basic 2.0 is installed, I tried to install version 6.3, but it didn't help. Is it possible that the error is related to the wrong choice of HMI, since I did not find my HMIET in the Expert Machine and chose a similar one. The type of connection via an Ethernet cable. I also can't add the ATV 320, the error is the same related to vijeo designer. That's what the error says "vijeo designer is either not installed on your computer or it is not supported by the used ecosruxture machine expert license

From what I've seen it cannot be a structure where I want M[1].Speed and M[2].Speed. It needs to be straight up a value in the address

Hello LTA, I’m having difficulty simulating the software EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert and Machine Expert Basic. I can't simulate communication between them on the PC. Is it possible to make the two simulators communicate with each other? I watched your video about variable linking with the M221, but in my case, I’m using an M200, and even with the online simulation, I can't make them communicate. Is there any procedure or something I can do? I don't know why, but it’s just not working for me.

Thank you for the video. It was very helpful especially in figuring out the UI elements. As far as I know, It is not good practice to use Normally Open switches for "Stop" functionality. If the wire connected to the switch breaks, there would be no way to stop the conveyor quickly. The person would then have to look for a disconnect or the e-stop, which hopefully was not also wired normally open. It might be worth noting that there's a good bit of audio static in this video for some reason too.

Hi Leandro, I'm working with visualizations in machine expert as part of a project that uses lots of images (and resources). After the last update I made for a client, they commented to me that there were issues related to "the machine freezing". When I inspected the issue, I realized this problem was related to the refresh rate/interval of the visu task manager as the visualizations were consuming a LOT of resources. The PLC was reaching 85% usage and then went into fault mode. I increased the refresh rate from 20 to 175ms (visu task interval) and it got solved. However, after one week the client told me there were some issues with buttons becoming gray after a few minutes not using the equipment (HMI) and I don't know how is that even happening. The tick on "paint disabled elements grayed out" is active but that never meant a problem before. Is there anyway I can reduce the consumption of resources? Cheers
