For me this seems like a precaution by Google because they allegedly are being forced to sell Chrome off by the DOJ (they found Google guilty of being a monopoly back in August). So for me this looks like Google wants to keep their OS for laptops and change it over to Android branding (and possibly features too) so that part doesn't also have to be sold. That being said, this has a lot of potential for everyone else, so I'm looking forward how this develops.
I do have a Galaxy S22 and tried out DeX; works pretty good except the multimedia hub hdmi keeps disconnecting sometimes and it is annoying. I wonder if Android on PC will further reduce Linux user install base. Android is sort of good, but concerned about big corporations behind an OS and who control your device and spy on you; Google and Microsoft are quite similar in this regard.
That would be so cool, I have a MINI PC in the lounge room 4core 4 threads...I should be able to install it and hopefully it'll topple the Nvidia Shield.
If this is true then about time too, there's no proper all round solution for proper Android on PC, as each current solution has it's own shortcomings, so 🤞🏼
Why dont you buy a pixel and bring out pixel news/google updates Like tweets by mishaal rahman Or something like indepth tech reviews That would run your channel for windows amd android users as well
I just saw a UA-camr talk about how they have secretly released a Linux container in android so I guess this is true and we will have desktop android with Linux apps
Hello kilobit im on bliss os can you help me i want to go back to windows but chromebook recovery utility is telling me linux is unsupported please help me
Android as phone or mirrored dex setup no full scale pc or server. Only 3 permanent os is Windows > Linux > MacOs and most of em running Linux or Windows. So idk stating something is 'finished' is a bold no?
This is getting closer to apples Mac OS, IOS, IPad OS.
google android unification could help boost the google ecosystem

I personally am looking forward to this, will be paying closer attention to it thanks to you!
Android is linux based so it's very likely to see linux applications here
Its been done quite a few times with chroot and proot on termux on phones
That's correct 💯💯
Can't wait! FydeOS is pretty good for now.
Is bliss os good ?
@reeeeee3793 In my opinion Fyde is better.
Microsoft needs to restart windows phone otherwise apple & google will both have complete ecosystem and Microsoft will be left with windows only

This would be sweet for tablet PCs!
Lack of Pro app can be issue....even if you can install linux app it is just emulated so not optimal!
Side load windows or regular Linux as well. It’d be great for a tablet pc because you can switch between them whenever you want

Do you think that I can do a duel boot on my pc if Android does comes to pc ?
yes for sure,,,

What's the point

I hope this happens. I use Linux as my main desktop but I'd switch to android with Linux vm in a flash.

I Think Desktop CPU/GPU Will Not Support It Natively.
Its a good thing since Microsoft hasn't been that great since Windows 7.
0:31 it's an ai generated image!
Android is a mobile OS and Chrome OS is a desktop OS and Windows is a desktop OS
When will windows for tablet's os will come.
its the windows 11 + arm already out
Oh, that's interesting!
If emulators can do it, everyone can.
I hate Android for its crap apps which are just spyware and adware.
Windows is finished
Yet majority of the world uses Windows
is over
@kairu_b they should get back to mobile market before they actually finished
@@masterrai5921majority of the world also uses android
