About that super rare Dreamcast, the reason why the magazine only has a photo of it is because it might just be the only one ever made, since it reads that the console in photo was made to commemorate the opening of a Sakura Wars themed shop in 1999 and they had a lottery of it for the customers. Still, "The amount is not known" so it could be that somewhere there might exist others.
Something else that might have pissed off Microsoft is that a number of the best games to come from that ended up getting superior ports on PS3, some like Tales of Vesperia were Japanese only. A lot of these bigger games were funded by Microsoft too. The JP only thing in particular annoyed a ton of Tales fans (including myself) because that version included a mountain of additions and changes over the Xbox 360 release. The EU has an advantage, it's cheaper, or was, to ship stuff from Japan to the EU. Prior to February 2022, all transportation was overland from Japan to Europe, aside from the Sea of Japan. It's kinda overkill to say 360 had hentai games even though some of the visual novels had very suggestive themes. Sega was really the only console maker (to a certain extent) ever with Saturn and Dreamcast that allowed full on hentai visual novels with graphic scenes included (and even then, they were heavily censored compared to the original pc versions). Japanese Saturn really was an amazing console if you liked arcade games and PC-98 visual novel ports.

I guess your answer indicates that no, you do not worry about ecological problems at all. I think that is a shame. @@Mogura87 Nevermind, I thought you were referring to the part at Mandarake where I was looking at the Radiant Silvergun VHS.
@@AdamKoralik Oh ok
I work right near Nakano Broadway and it’s crazy to think you might have been in the same area as me.
I'll be back!
Plz do a five years later Nintendo Switch video. You channel is not the same without those videos. We don't care if it's late. You have to talk about the fifth year of the Switch
It's almost the sixth anniversary yo.
Is it only in US that people charging a lot for Japanese imports? I never experience that in EU theost I payed for a game was Re code Veronica limited edition with a medallions and leather jacket it was 60 euro for game slike Virtua cop on Saturn I paid like 7 euro, actually European Saturn games as super expensive.
The EU has an advantage, it's cheaper, or was, to ship stuff from Japan to the EU.
Prior to February 2022, all transportation was overland from Japan to Europe, aside from the Sea of Japan.
That makes insurance on flights cheaper, making shipping cheaper.
Though with activities in Ukraine/Russia....I don't know how that works now.
Hey Adam! Hope your doing OK my gaming brother :) Any chance of you doing an Atomiswave video where you go over all the games playable on the Dreamcast and your general thoughts on them? Would be nice to get your perspectives on those
It's on my list, yeah.
@@AdamKoralik Thanks man! Appreciate it
I have that beast wars GB fighting tile CIB and with the official game guide, very cheap
Fair enough.
I’ll be in Osaka next month (and taking the kids to Super Nintendo world of course) so this vid is good timing.
The travel videos should be helpful.
Dude those Dreamcast books are freaking awesome
Wait audio CDs 70 USD ? Bought CDs there many times, it was always around 10 and 25 USD ( new ).
Check again, it's insane.
To be fair, not EVERY CD is going to be like that. But generally they retail for pretty substantial prices.
Hi Adam Travel. Whatcha doing on the Adam Koralik channel? o u o
Finding games that you refuse to buy him with your unlimited pockets
This.
15:50 I'm probably gonna hold out for a CDZ, unless I absolutely can't find one close to when I leave.
You honestly haven't ever even seen a FM Towns Marty or games there, just the controller you bought? Not even in Super Potato?
I saw one in the US, oddly enough. But not in Japan.
Xbox 360 shmups 🤘💕
also had no idea that music cds are a premium in Japan 😮
Yeah, it's rather frustrating.
Nice . When you coming to Malaysia?
No current plans, would love to though.
UA-cam interaction +1
I'm gonna be staying in Kawasaki for the first half of my trip and Osaka the rest. If I find anything you've been looking for like Pippin games or anything else, I'll let you know. Pippin, Playdia, Loopy, your favorite systems, I'll look for games for you.
I'm waiting for some Bandai Playdia reviews. Virtual Boy I thought you had a Virtual Boy console?
Nope.
I played Panzer Elite Action on Xbox one via backwards compatibility when it was region locked on og xbox
Yes, but that's OG, not 360. But yes it totally works.
I promise, when I'll visit japan I'll buy half of their Godzilla inventory.
I have an entire Godzilla video coming up on the travel channel.
Finnaly pulled the trigger and bought that Dragonzord hoodie 🤣
Hell yeah!
Is your hoodie with Dragon Caesar and Mechagodzilla?
I suppose technically accurate, but we tend to think of him more as Dragonzord. But yes.
@@AdamKoralik That is what I grew up knowing it as with Power Rangers, I have now watched just about all of the Super Sentai series that have been made and that is why I referred to it as Dragon Caesar.
@@mattnordsell9760 Oh I know it's from Super Sentai, I was mostly just amused you knew that name too
@@AdamKoralik I prefer watching Japanese counterparts versus English for most things when there is a Japanese version. I'm also looking at moving to the Osaka area some time soon in the near future. I currently live in the southwest metro of the twin cities & I have mentioned before to you how I grew up about an hour south of Chicago.
First SMT game to be released in NA*
As soon as you said Virtual Boy I knew 😂
That's what I have you here for.
5:14 see, I told you there’s weed stuff there!
Can't wait for the hardoff vid
It'll be out today.
44:25 Telegram, Telephone, Tell-a-Robloxer
$60 for Jack Bros??????? *melts into complete sadness*
Would it help if I said they had two copies?
@@AdamKoralik AAAAAAAA I NEED TO GO TO JAPAN BRUH 😭
ooh exciting
They should have called The Last Blade 2 "The Last Blade nah man we really mean it this time it's the last one"
I just find it funny when a game or a movie uses the word "last" in the title but the sequel is soon to come.
Also doesn't every fighter in that game have some sort of bladed weapon So how is there a last blade?
This.
I'm sure that'll hold up. No no officer I'm not that kind of nerd I'm this kind of nerd.
Correct, yes.
3:11 ohhh, WEEB stuff. I thought you said weed stuff
Leaving a comment for the algorithm
Bug Princess.
Cool
Desu so kawaii (engagement)
Arigato gozaimasu.
Are you never worried about your ecological footprint?
Didn't know I was the one drilling for oil and producing products made well beyond my control.
@@AdamKoralik That is not what I am saying. I think there is also a responsibility of consumers. You don't have to be the actual person drilling the oil or the company behind it to make a difference. I am not one for black and white thinking and I am far from perfect myself. But I would hope there would be a bit more awareness around the world by now. I guess your answer indicates that no, you do not worry about ecological problems at all. I think that is a shame. I am not saying, people shouldn't enjoy themselves or stop going on holiday at all, but there is wisdom in moderation. If we would share resources more equally across the world, then more people now and in the future (and other species) can enjoy a good life.
@@CasperEgas Ah, you assume you know me based on your lack of information. Got it.
@@AdamKoralik Adam, I am not trying to pick a fight with you at all. It was just a question.
@@CasperEgas It's a question based on an accusation, an ignorant one at best. Exactly what did I do? Most of this plastic content existed before I was born or was forged as I was a child. Largely acquired by me from recycling shops. The alternative? They get melted down contributing to a higher ecological footprint.
What are you taking issues with? Aircraft? Newsflash, they fly regardless if I'm on them or not.
Incidentally, I exclusively fly United. Look into their EcoSkies program, part of why I stick with them is because of that.
Rather than essentially accuse me of destroying the planet, maybe instead understand the context a little better next time man.
