@@coachparker IMO the playing fields starts leveling out, and kids aren’t going to be able to outrun everyone and always be bigger than everyone. I like the basics and adding from there. I like a lot of it but in moderation. If you are clobbering a team between the tackles 3-4 and 5yards, what’s the point
That's how I learned the hole numbering in high school and I wanna teach these 8u kids that system as weell but for whatever reason they wanna teach the 8u the high school playbook and I'm even confused about the numbering system.
One thing about football I learned through my years coaching. Simple always works.
Yep simple works and everyone has a different variation of simple.

the I and its variants are so easy to teach and learn.

It's really on the downside of the slope. Imo. It's gotten to o predictable.

Funny that hs system may not be run when they are in hs. I always find that issue funny.
