Of course I'm pulling for Dustin like many are but if I had to pick then Islam most likely gets it done by submission, tko/ko or decision even but I highly doubt the fight goes all 5 rounds.

I respect Dustin as a person and fighter but unfortunately, he is not in his prime anymore and neither does he have the skillset to pull a dream "third time lucky". I’m a big fan of MMA sport but I never seen so sure that a guy is gonna win except for Mayweather and these Dagestani especially khabib and Islam. It seems like the only way to beat like khabib or Islam is a lucky punch. There is no fucking weakness in these guys.

Lot of wishful thinking here. Like the guy who said he wants Dustin to win because he is a striker. Well so is Islam. He has proven it. He just head kicked Volkanasky. Khabib and Islam when they get punched or kicked usually brush it off. They both have tough chins. Maybe Khabibs grappling and ground and pound is a bit better than Islams but Islams submission game is another level. Of course it’s possible Dustin can win but I doubt it

Look at his take down, he has leg sweep, clinch and leg trip, some of judo technique just like he did to olive oil, as soon as Islam touch him, he will bait Dustin to to what he wanted. I honestly think Dustin just needs to say screw it and blow his wad in the first 2 rounds. Go at Islam like Khamzat does. If the fight goes past round 2 it’s going to favor Islam taking him down and having more control. If Poirier just says it’s now or never and goes out to turn round 1 into an all out brawl he can surprise Islam. I’m sure he will sit back and be patient like he always is and try to catch him with his timing but I don’t think he can beat Islam on points. Islam will wear him down with take downs.
