Very good demo of a great dirt pedal Jake. I've got a Marshall BluesBraker 2 Overdrive / Boost Pedal myself. I've got to say that Marshall makes fantastic Overdrive / Distortion pedals. Thanks for the video.
Nice demo of what I think is a great and highly regarded distortion pedal among an ocean of pedals. I have one of those, bought it in 2002 at Mars music in Las Vegas. I recently broke off the volume knob shaft when I accidentally dropped it so I ordered a new volume pot that had to backorder, it took 6 months to recieve it but I'm glad it's back on my board working perfectly because I love it so!
I used to love my Keeley TS-9, until I picked up my beat up old GV-2. The TS-9 sounded so thin and pointless in comparison, so I decided to just stick it in a box for my kid to find someday in the future... It has not been missed. The Guv'nor is so much thicker, richer, and more capable... hands down!
I love the idea of hiding it away for your kid. I love mine GV-2 , I have recently stopped using it as I now have an attenuator. I can now push my plexi Into this truly authentic Marshall sound 😍
Does anyone have any recommendations regarding the DEEP knob - I want to achieve a "bass cut" or "tightening the bass" , some say you should turn the DEEP to zero and then adjust the BASS knob - others suggest the opposite - turning Deep on MAX while bass set to zero... anyone has any ideas?
I like the ole guvenor but it lacks a bit of mid push so can get a bit lost in the mix, so kinda needs a tube screamer or klon in the front to really make it awesome. Oh and the tele has natural mid punch dont like saturated bass. Again it gets lost in the mix.
Cool review Fella! Do you find the thing is a bit quiet when it's compared to other OD's? I have one I don't use the deep control at all it could have been called "Wool" lol I guess if you didn't have a large amp you could pretend when recording... It's a decent pedal though, and yours is the best review on it I found when looking for a 2nd opinion lol
Bob Higgins Cheers dude! It's a great pedal I use it most weekends I use it for a low gain setting and then use another OD pedal after that to send the amp crazy 😜 I use the pedals volume set to 12 o'clock and it equals to the volume of the dry signal. Have a play around with your pedal 😉
You play well, express yourself wonderfully, and put effort into the presentation. You REALLY deserve more subscribers. Well impressed, and subscribed. Please feel welcome yo visit my own scruffy channel at some point. Bless you dude, hope to find more of your stuff. Interesting Explorer you built by the way. Kinda cool - and YOURS..! Character man, is its own unique quality, eh?

Finally got one back I used to play one for 10 yrs. Found one new in box and wrap. Luckily
Thanks for uploading. Of all the pedals I own (and I own A LOT), this one is my favorite. And yes, I even like it better than my OCD.

The Guvnor as transformed my Fender amp. Fat Blues setting is a must
If this was your first ever review then nice job, man! Subscribed.
Cheers dude! Would love to do more of them

The deep knob is a presence knob...it's like choosing how big the cab e.g. 1x12, 2x12, 4x12...

This is my favorite and the marshall drivemaster
Great video buddy. Loved the warm sound. Tested it on the fx loop as well?
Big up ozzy love the intro music and setting looks sick
Thank you!!! A lot of effort has gone into this it's nice that it has been noticed 🤘
NICE REVIEW. HOW DOES THE PEDAL REACT TO ROLLING BACK GUITAR VOLUME KNOB?
hey man , the ozzy guitar that you made is really cool !!
Jadi Peperzak thank you so much! ozzyguitars.co.uk/the-first/ here is how I made it 😉👍
Would have been nice to hear it with different EQ settings.
Daniel Bentley cheers for the feedback, I will take it onboard for the next video I do 😜
Sounds good on a solid state amp?
J.A Salazar does to my ears
Cool review Fella!

whit guitar sounds extremely muffled, not jus bassy, muffled. nexr guitar sounds muffled too. How did you manage to kill the marshall amp sound ? :-D
I think it's because of mic positioning and eq, but the sound is pretty good and gives a great idea of how the pedal sounds like.
done deal. awsome pedal, awsome review.
James Cassidy Thank you dude!!!
I bet there's a good Quo sound in there..
Tybok C it sounds great whilst playing "Caroline" in the covers band 👍
