My Milgauss was my 30th birthday watch like your Pepsi GMT was for you. I wanted this watch for about 6 years before buying it and it's an absolute keeper. 4 years with it now and I've never once considered selling it. Yes it's thick on paper, and I really dislike unnecessarily thick watches, but for some reason I don't get that feeling with this watch. It sits prefectly and so comfortably on my wrist. Anyway, really enjoyed the video. It made me a subscriber. Thanks for making it!
Milgauss is one of kind. What a great watch to commemorate your 30th. I agree, the Milgauss doesn’t wear thick at all. I think people think it’s thick because it is compared to other Rolexes. I believe it’s only just over 13mm thick. When compared to other brands, it’s pretty standard, and with those lovely curves of the case it wears nice 👌🏼
i love this watch. had mine for 14 years this month. after ten years of beautiful monogamy i have played away with countless others, but i always have her back.
I really enjoy the Black Milgauss with the green crystal. I use my Milgauss in a military laboratory setting and visually it is easy to tell time because the green crystal blocks harsh light well. I essentially use it like people use the Explorer 1. I use it in field lab settings, traditional lab settings, as well as a daily wearing piece. The watch is just understated enough in black and green that unless you know about the watch it can stay under the radar to most people and yet still be special.
I have this watch. It is magical and, yes, better than the Z Blue because of the contrast with the glass. Don’t think they will discontinue it. The green glass gives them bragging rights.
I could see it getting discontinued for sure, only because the concept of a “Milgauss” doesn’t make sense anymore when all their movements have higher resistance to magnetism with the modern materials they use. But I could also see them blowing everyone out of the water and updating it to be completely resistant to magnetism somehow 🤷🏽♂️ who knows, realistically if it’s updated they will do the lazy, easy thing and update the movement to the same one as the new airking and same case and simply polish the mid links, meh.
I just realized who was commenting after going back! Holy crap I watch all your videos, and have been for a while 😆 good stuff, I love hearing your watch nerdy reasons for buying or selling a watch, true watch enthusiast 👍🏼
The more I think about it, I agree. I think the Milgauss could absolutely be your only watch. And I’d always tell the guy that choice this, “what a fkn cool choice.”
I really don’t want to see them do that. I love the case shape of the Milgauss. I’d be happy if they updated the movement, kept the design, maybe refined a few things on the dial. A slimmer even a mm smaller version would be perfect. The air king case is just like the sub and the gmt we don’t need more of that.
It’s easy to love the Z-Blue right? Blue dials are always loved. And the shade of Blue on the Z-blue is particularly lovely, a little lighter, has depth with the sunburst finish. But the subtle nature of the matte black dial compliments it’s quirky features much better 👌🏼
the black is the one. i like the black and white ones with the clear glass.. but with the green sapphire, the black dial is the best foil, and the varied hour markers hit the spot 👌🏼
How do you feel about the discontinued AirKing 116900? Similar movement different look. Really love how light plays on the applied 3,6,9 white gold markers! The pops of green and yellow crown is also a unique look IMO. Much to love. Underrated as well!
I’ll be honest I don’t love the air king. Never have. The whole design seems like it doesn’t quite flow. The project blood hound was a miserable fail so the story isn’t good. But that’s just me. I know some people absolutely love the Air king old and new and that’s fine. There’s a Rolex for everyone.
@@ChristopherNegroni Thanks for your honest opinion, bro! I’m also not a fan of the story relating to the failed racing project behind this AirKing. Initially I was also not a fan of how busy the dial looks. But overtime the dial, unique color combination and the robustness of having features of both Explorer and Milagaus grew on me. Was even SO CLOSE to selling this watch multiple times but then I remembered why I purchase it in the first place. I work in the Emergency Room so having the 5-second minute markers was a very practical thing for me to have when monitoring my patients Vital Signs (Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, etc). Must say, the way the fluorescent light plays with the dial at the job house makes it a pleasure to sight to see on- wrist which is a great feeling thus far lol. Proud to have designated this AirKing as my Work Watch. 🤟 yeee!
@@Mannie-Jay that makes perfect sense. It is a very legible watch with the mixtures of markings. I think you wearing it in your everyday operations and using it as such makes that watch mean more to you individually. And that’s what I love about these watches. Thanks for sharing 🤘🏼 that’s awesome, really.
got my Milgauss in Oktober 2021 after 2 Months on the list!!!! at the old retail price-2022 rolex went up with the price by 11 %. I’m totally in love with that thing. I wore it at my wedding last may and will pas it on to my daughter one day!
Love it! Not gonna lie it felt good getting my Pepsi right before the price increase as well. Congrats on acquiring this beauty. It’s really grown on me. The watch is unique and special on its own but the fact that it’s now your wedding watch makes it priceless!
Great review, always liked the Milgauss. I think your speech issue is hanging with Timmy too much. Oh your photography is top notch. Only watch no, including it in the stable yes.
For a particular man, I think it could be his only watch. Thank you Michael, I have a lot of room to improve. Wish I would of cleaned the crystal more often, conditions were windy and all the dust is really brought to the surface in macro shots. Lol you might be right about the speech issue 😅
I’m actually a huge fan of the 321. But a few reasons: 1. I like the Daytona design more, hype aside. 2. Water resistance. 3 price and availability. Omega wants to price it slightly higher than a Daytona and also play the “waiting game”. I think it would be amazing to have both in a collection 😎
Stare at the sea. It will teach you more and bring you closer to the eternal than any rolex, a Buddist once said to me. I appreciate your review
Why not stare at the see….. with a Rolex on your wrist? 😅 that’s what I call bliss. Thank you 🙏🏻 thanks for watching
@@ChristopherNegroni A win double indeed.
Milgauss Black GV definitely one of the best looking watches ever made.

Had to do it right 😁 thanks 🙏🏻
Amazing photography with an amazing watch - it's my current fav
Very fun watch to shoot. Thanks for watching!
@@ChristopherNegroni I've recently got back an unworn Milgauss circa 2021 - I had one and sold it - Now got it back ! Yes sir - Never let the Milly go
What a great way to showcase this watch 👍

@@ALLinHerMovements I’m really flattered. And no I wish I was! I love SD. That’s where I want to retire.
Great video. I believe this will be the last version of the Milgauss made. Collectors for sure.
Thank you! I have the same suspicion
Good vid, all the best
Thank you 🙏🏻
Great video Chris! I think the black milgauss is a great 1 watch collection. It can be dressed up or down.

i did exactly this from 2010 to 2020.. then lockdown came and the wristwatch rabbit 🐇 hole was explored. far & wide.
Another great video! Love the design and history of the Milgauss but sadly I could never pull it off - wears to big on my flimsy wrist 😅
It is a thick boy indeed my friend.
Love your videos!
The style, your opinions, everything about them!

Off topic from the video but I had to ask, why not consider calibre 321 “Ed white” Speedmaster for exclusive chronograph over the hyped daytona
