At 6:35 you forgot to pay commander tax, geode golem still requires you to pay commander tax when you get to cast your commander for free using its triggered ability
6:54 you cant cast Rise of the Eldrazi because you dont pay the commander taxes, geode golem let you cast your commander without paying its mana cost, but not the taxes. Cheater!!!
Was stoked to see this pop up in my feed, a perfect way to kill time during lunch! Thanks for the gameplay- my favorite channel to watch since you explain cards and situations surrounding them well and give time for them to be on the screen.
At 6:10 on turn 5, when Scott dropped Grim Guardian via Composer of Spring did he not have any more enchantments in his hand? Composer does trigger of itself when you put enchantment creatures down. I've seen that thing spiral out of control real fast. 👀
I admit I wasn't a fan of Zhulodok at first. Felt like it's gonna be a 6-mana-do-nothing you'll never untap with. Glad to see the deckbuilders came up with creative ways to make sure it sticks around long enough to do some serious damage.
Looks like ill be getting that eldrazi deck that enchantment deck popped off quick but seeing how the eldrazi ramped for more stuff so quick was bonkers
Darksteel Monolith does not let you cast for free from the top of your library. It's hand only. Plus, Zhul only cascades from spells cast from hand. Misplays happen but that was actually a little game warping. Doesn't honestly give a good representation of yhe decks.
BK did not cast a spell from the top of his library using darksteel monolith. He made mention of that in the narration fyi. That would have been a problem!
Congratulations! I was out playing some Commander when the video dropped and just got home. Couldn't get much going today but my Ruhan deck did the trick for the last game we got in. Meatball!

at 6:55 you still have to pay the command tax (and the tax increases since the commander is cast),because it is an additional cost aside from the mana cost, so you wouldn't have the mana for rise of the eldrazi

That’s a REALLY good catch!! I don’t think BK would have enough mana to cast that 12 drop which completely shifted the game.

I think you need in the eldrazi deck the basalt monolith for the infinite mana combo with the forsaken monument and the urza’s workshop for the memes
