DTM Race 1 Hockenheimring 2023 | Bortolotti vs Preining | Grello

Decision postponed! Thomas Preining was the new DTM champion until ten minutes before the end of the penultimate championship race on Saturday at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. The front runner confidently led the field in the Porsche 911 GT3 R, his closest rival Mirko Bortolotti was only in seventh place in the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2. That would have meant an early title for the Austrian. But Bortolotti fought his way up to fifth place and, despite a deficit of 27 points, mathematically maintains his chances of winning the title. After 37 laps, Preining not only celebrated his second success of the season, but also celebrated the first DTM double victory for his Manthey EMA racing team with second place for teammate Dennis Olsen. The team from Meuspath won the team championship early, and Porsche secured the manufacturers' title for the first time in DTM history. The title could alread be decided in tomorrows qualifiying.

@@HomeOfMotorsport Südtribüne. Am Samstag. Ich bin von dem GT3 Konzept im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen sehr überzeugt. Wo sonst gibt es so viele Marken? Die Autos sind bezahlbar und fertig verfügbar für die Teams. Auch die GT4 und Porsche Cup waren sehr unterhaltsam.
GT4 sind meine Lieblingsserie, weil die den klassischen Tourenwagen noch am nächsten kommen.

@@SenfzwelchAh okay. Finde GT3 Autos auch geil. Finde nur das die Preise etwas zu teuer sind. Wie du vielleicht an meinen Videos gesehen hast war ich auch bei der GTWC in Hockenheim. Habe dort für eine vergleichbare Leistung die Hälfte gezahlt. Fand’s auch schade das die Historics dieses Jahr nicht mit dabei waren.
