This was great thank you. What is the recommendation on max diameter difference between the two. Example: Can you have 80lb Fluro Leader go into 80lb hollow core braid?
I have used YGK Galis Scrum 16 Assist Line 60lb as my hollow core, and i spliced 40lb solid and 80lb nylon shock leader. locked with superglue, however every time after hard pulling, the leader seem to be slowly slip out. Not sure if it's due to the stretch of the nylon? So I wonder if this is just happened to me or happened to everyone that using this type of splices.
You can get the wind-on jig from blue seas fabrication: www.blueseasfab.com/product/wind-on-leader-jig/ Stay tuned for a new video dropping monday that utilizes the same jig!
Thanks you for a simple instruction of this method.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching

if your going to add line ontop of it as security you might as well do a FG or PR knot instead.
i love my FG knot but splicing is smoother and stronger (if done correctly)
Great !
Thanks!
