- A lovely day on the Outer Banks, Me and the queen are off. starting off at one of our fav joints, Spanky's in Kitty Hawk. Then for a cup of joe at Ashleys Espresso Bar, Check out the beach in Nags Head at Baltic Street and then go pallet hunting to gather materials for a future off season project

A great place to get pallets and scrap lumber is from a place where a new house is being built.
Check in the dumpsters. I was a contractor for 40 years.
I would find some really nice lumber, cabinets, and windows with minimal damage.
Just make sure you get permission. 🚔😮😂
