We LOVE going there. We ride our bikes around the area. We stay right down the road at OBX campgrounds. Did you ever notice that the monument looks like the tail end of a plane? 🤔 Can't wait to come down there around BIKE WEEK.

Thanks Drew…as many times as we’ve gone up to Duck and to the Waterfront Shops, I never knew the dock by KHK connected to them. I learned something new today. Stay safe down there, seeing there’s a winter weather advisory in effect. That never used to happen in OBX.🥺

My opinion is that was one of the best adventures we’ve been taken on. Summer is ridiculous! Haven’t been in a long time. Did love it at a point when I was younger. Sunset Grille was best restaurant I’ve ever been to. No memory of the food but the atmosphere was wonderful. Duck is a precious little town. I enjoyed every minute of the walk. It was so special!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Just got home to Va.from my 2 week winter vacation with my friend in KDH at Cavalier by the sea. We had an OF efficiency so enjoyed the ocean view even when the wind was blowing too hard to go outside. So appreciate your videos! OBX is magical in the winter!

Wait until Sat & Sun snow on the Outer Banks will be beautiful.

Coastal Cravings is a great place to eat also. We walk that boardwalk when we come down. You don't want to be in Duck from May-Aug🤯

A beautiful day on the Duck tour! I asked my husband if he knew where Duck was and he said yes! He family went to the Outer Banks when he was young! I was raised in the NC Mts and was were too poor to travel!Thank you for showing it to us, especially the beach at the end!❤😅😅

I used to go to the Duck Deli until it closed during COVID. What’s there now is a tourist trap. Love to walk the soundside docks with my dog. Otherwise Duck is only for the well heeled now a days. Hillcrest Beach access is a private beach for folks with beach labels on their cars. Come warm weather only folks who pay for their labels are allowed. Sorry….

Duck is in Dare County. Currituck County begins just North of Sanderling. I have been a homeowner nonresident of the town of Duck for nine years. Winter is pretty desolate. Spring and fall are excellent times of the year to visit. Summer has become a congested, busy time of the year since covid. I live in Richmond, VA. First came to the OBX as a child in the 1960s Went to Hatteras by ferry before the bridge was built. In the 70’s I return to the OBX to surf the Hatteras Lighthouse break. For the next 35 years I returned to the OBX yearly as a tourist with my parents, then my wife and children until I took the plunge and bought a house in Duck in 2017. I love what you are doing with your videos and watch the all since I for found you on UA-cam. Just one bit of the town of Duck History for the next time you visit. Where you started your walk the neighborhood to your right is Four Seasons. Originally a KOA campground was located on that spot and the Wee Winks where you got the sandwich was the end of the road. There was an actual gate in the road immediately past Wee Winks with an unpaved road heading north. I am not a local but my OBX history and your love of the OBX makes me feel like a local. A BIG Thanks to you!
