Don't know if it was in this compilation, but my personal favorite Kimi moment is when his car broke in a race in Monaco, he didn't bother to go back to the pits, he just went to his yacht and started chilling while the race continued.
Mine’s when he crashed out and consoled the crying tifosi kid with the VIP treatment.
Supposedly the kids family was kinda rich too but being nice is being nice.

I used to work for him. I went to his place one morning 8am. I didnt know he was there. Well he was..and leaving with taxi with his friends. And drunk as hell. I doubt boys had any sleep last night, he was so wasted😅 i worked for him so many years, but i saw him rearly. Amazing guy.
Kimi in the early 2000’s was ridiculously quick. Possibly even the fastest driver of the 2000’s ahead of Schumacher and Alonso. Unfortunately reliability issues with his McLaren, especially in 2005, prevented him from winning more world titles but he did manage to win one world title with Ferrari in 2007.

Kimi is am absolute legend.
A fairly typical Fin, man of few words but the ones he gives are Pearls of Wisdom mostly...
He doesn't suffer fools or poor drivers (that have bought their way into a seat).
His no nonsense approach to motor racing is of legend.
Finland produces some of the very best Track and Rally drivers in the world. Rallying is a national obsession in Finland, they start very very young in the amateur/club meetings.

Kimi is Finnish, it's a national sport to drink there.
Legend say that's how they won the winter war, they drank more than the Russians and therefore had antifreeze running in their blood.
The Russians couldn't keep up so they froze to death.
Kimi is a legend outside of the car, he simply doesnt like PR all that much and simply keeps it real, short and sweet.
However, it seems to me that people remember Kimi more for his PR answers and actions rather than his legendary skills as a driver. Especially in his prime Kimi was the ultimate GOAT, and while debatable, some considered him to be the best there was (again, in his prime). He was beyond amazing at McLaren, amazing at Ferrari and even at Lotus he was brilliant. Heck, even at Alfa he pulled some amazing skills. Ya know what, i would even say that for the short time he was in Rally, he did a damn good job and had potential to play with the top dogs if he stayed longer.

A little context for 2:43 Kimi was tipsy during the award ceremony hence the fact he looked a little strange and out of character when taking the award lmao. There are a few clips on YT of kimi drunk even after the ceremony the alcohol makes him loosen up a little XD gotta love Kimi.

Kimi is and always will be a fan favorite. He has the typical finnish dry humour but he was a real force to be reckoned on the track. just one short example: In the 2020 Portugal Grand prix, he started on postion 16 and made up a whopping 10 places during the staring lap, without pushing anyone of the track, while sitting in a freaking ALFA. Anyone who knows a little about F1 knows that's pretty much impossible! So yeah, i hope you will check out some of his racing highlights. It's not just his cold demeanor that earned him his nickname as "The Iceman".

I'm watching F1 since 1982. Just for my opinion, if you search for one of the most talented Drivers, his Name has to be under the Top 3.
Before his first F1 Race in 2001, he started at only 23 car races. FIA gave him a temporary Superlicence for driving F1 in the first four races, while under the supervision of the stewards. As we know, he made his way and and gifted us all with these wonderful moments.
And if I'm not mistaken he even scored a point in his first start. And back then only top 6 got points.
Right, that was a provisional license; which actually didn't exist in the regulations at the time. Strange machinations.
@@Funkeman well he was P7 in his F1 debut, but someone ahead of him ( if I remember correctly, it was Olivier Panis) got penalty, which rose Kimi to P6 , and score point on his debut.
Kimi Raikkonen was the most loved driver in F1 and had the most fans in the whole world. He now collaborates with Westcoust chopper where you can buy his clothes. He is also a big chopper fan and owns a couple of them.

Gotta love it. I've commented it before so apologies if it seems I'm pestering, but hamiltons 2020 Poles at Hungary and Mugello in the fastest f1 car ever are insane. Also F1s new in race visor cams. As for Kimi's career highlights, there's loads, but he was a beast in his McLaren days - ceck out the 2005 Japanese GP and it'll speak for itself. Love the reactions :)

Back in the day you had many characters , Kimi was the last Ferrari champion , and when he won it he took a time of from F1,. Hes also the reason why , Redbull now has a racing team .

The funny thing about Kimi is,he never liked the press conferences and media,he was just there to race,he is a pro racing f1 driver,he isnt an influencer,but he is a celebrity! His Idgaf attitude just escalated and made him viral making the media to be more annoying and to target him!!!Now walk a mile on his shoes!!! I can at least explain one of these as a fellow Finn 😃 When his asked about Indian food and he says he likes it if it's similar than in Europe. He means that there are restaurants in Europe that claim to be Indian but he doesn't know how authentic they actually taste. So he says that he thinks that he likes Indian food but he needs to try the "real deal" first to be sure 🙂

Finnish way to learn to drive. In winter take (or some parents might even give you keys) your parents car, the rearwheel drive one, and drive. You'll learn quick since you don't want damage it. I was 13 when i did warm up my moms car at winter mornings, and yes rearwheel drive one.

1. Driving in the Schumi Alonso era when he had a good car.
2. Driving that "good" car ,the McLaren was fast but dear lord it wasnt reliable.
Sad that he had only one championship but then again its also luck cause even Alonso(who i think has better driving skills) has only 2.
