does anyone know how New Mexico's chili cheeseburger compares to Pueblo, Colorado's slopper? I've had slopper's before but never a NM chili cheeseburger, I'm curious.
this place is famous for crack and cheap labor ... I got paid 14/ hour in ABQ 28 / hour here in Denver and I have a 700 dollar apartment in Colorado springs .. will never look back
Albuquerque is actually a great place to live. People often take it for granted and think there is nothing to do, but this book actually points out a ton of awesome things and there is a bunch more to do if you just open your eyes to what the city has to offer.
Funny this video says " before you die" . If you stay in ABQ an early death may be yours or you might wish for death! It is a horrible place with big city problems without big city attractions
What part of Green Chile Cheese BURGER do you not understand. Your saccharine approach to ABQ food culture will not play. Vegetarian does not deliver the on the promise of NM cuisine, at least not in this area. If you want to push a hipster ideal, then go to Santa Monica, if you want to eat like a man, come to ABQ and eat BEEF from a cow with Hatch chiles and processed cheese. Laguna Burger used to be the best but they are slipping and not cooking their fries all the way thru. Blakes can give you a great example of the NM G-CH-CHZ. Do nothing that this person is telling you to do, if he can't get the food thing right he clearly is a stranger to our ways. This should be called 100 things you can do to pretend you are from Albuquerque. Say "Bos-Q" or Juan Tahh-bo" so we can really know. The author is great and authentic, the reporter suxxxxxx
Blah blah blah. Typically meat head getting their panties twisted everytime they see the word "Vegetarian". Don't like it? Then don't eat it, it's that simple. Nobody is shoving veggie burgers down your throat or making you change your diet. Carnivores think vegetarians are sissies yet they are the sensitive ones who get offended by a food item being vegetarian.
Love New Kexico and so far have done these and more. Love travel outside Albuquerque also. Glad you wrote a book !
Oh! Don’t forget to Visit the popular “war zone” neighborhood for a direct exposure of Albq life.
