I wouldnt exactly say that people thought his music was lame in High School. I was a junior when Blake was a Freshman. It's just that San Antonio doesn't have supporters. Your own friends wont even supports you. It doesn't matter whether you are trying to be a rapper, a basketball player, or anything else. People don't learn to support you until you've actually already made it. Which is sad af. So it's hard to say that people thought his music was lame because it wasn't it's just nobody supported him. And even at that I give him major respect for that. Its hard making it out of San Antonio. Whether it's you trying to become rich or famous or you're just trying to have a better life for yourself. I know a lot of people who are just trying to create a better living and still haven't made it out.
