Well, thank you, Thomas, for this walk through surprisingly spacious and stately Dordrecht. I know it is the oldest city in Nederland, so I wasn't expecting the broad streets and feeling of openness of this city. What a lovely stadhuis, too, guarded by lions that remind me of the NYC public library. It seems like a very liveable city. I am learning so much about Hollandse towns that I haven't yet been to, thanks to you, as well as revisiting old friends.
It is one of the oldest city’s actually Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands
Isabella, Dordrecht is the oldest city of Holland. And Holland= the two provinces South- Holland and North - Holland.

I thought so as well. I knew that the city centre was beautiful but it felt quite unique compared to other 17th century dutch cities.

Moet zeggen dat het centrum zeker een van de mooiste is in NL. Unieker dan andere vergelijkbare 17de eeuwse steden.
Ben er ook geboren en tot mijn 22 jaar geleefd en nog steeds een heerlijk stadje vind ik.

I'm confused by some of the routes you took. Especially at the end, why did you not go in that street at 37:37. Would have taken you right to the great church plaza.
I see what you mean, but the church you see is the one at the beginning of the walk :)
Dordrecht has a lot more nice streets. I have to do a video again sometime.
