The states have judged the counter offensive to be a SUCCESS ! And want to ramp up the support for Ukraine. We ultimately want Ukraine to join NATO and enjoy the benefit of being a member of the European community. Like west Germany opposed to East Germany. Or South Korea opposed to North Korea. Himars GLSDB, which doubles its current range to almost 100 miles, and is significantly more accurate than the already accurate gmlrs, as the glsdb has circle of accuracy to one meter. It can also hit moving targets if painted by laser from air (drone) or soldier on ground. Though smaller than the gmlrs, it is cheaper and more plentiful. Icing on cake would be addition of ATACMS single unitary warhead which would almost double current cluster munition in use.
I have been eagerly awaiting the use of GLSDB. It was announced that they were transferred, so it should just be a matter of time.

For Ukrainians that would fret over U.S. support in restraining/defeating the Russians (as well as reminding Kuleba that Zelenskyy was not elected king of Europe): This American would remind Ukraine that the United states spent 80 years of blood and treasure defending the sovereignty of Europe (liberation, Marshall Plan, etc.notwithstanding), ultimately leading to the liberation of the so-called Warsaw Pact nations (Polish PiS, Orban, Slovakians, Serbians, et al: are you listening? Don't screw up the chances given you). Pax Americana has long-since evolved beyond a hobby; It has become Juggernaut... and we are Legion; If you win, we win... likewise, if we win, you win.. just ask the burgeoning rest of the civilized world, we ain't even close to being done yet.
As an American i whole heartedly apologize to Ukraine and it's beautiful people for the actions of some of our politicians. Our new Speaker Of The House Mike Johnson has never openly supported Ukraine.
I promise you all that he is in the minority. Matt Gaetz ousted Kevin McCarthy who is an ardent supporter of Ukraine. He is a Republican and other Republicans support Ukraine.
Please know that most Americans are with you and the ones who aren't have apparently taken their freedom for granted. They sit at home in their nice, warm, and comfortable surroundings with plenty of food and luxury items. They have confused freedom with the Illusion of security, to quote Joe Lindsey.

God forbid we are ever invaded. I believe our military is strong now but future prospects are not looking all that great. Our military has had to lower physical and academic standards because apparently many younger military recruits are fat and stupid. Not all but enough that stands have to be lowered.
Americans, don't get all offended because you know it's the truth. I am very proud of our present military and veterans. I had 3 Uncles who fought in WW2 and grew up during The Great Depression. Those were tough old men and women. Nothing like we are today but very much like the people of Ukraine are. They are showing us the fight for freedom is worth giving us their lives for the sake of their children and future generations. I am in awe of their bravery.

It appears that in some places in Ukraine the UKA Heavies are not using Fire Management. The fields of fire are looking like a test fire range, holes upon holes. Stratigic targeting is a must as the US and our Allies can not continue the pace without drawing down our own minimum stockpiles. One can not just hope of the hundred fired, on will be on target. We learned that with our firebase concept of artillery.
