Nice! Question for the Shotokan community - I’ve was initially taught to tense at the moment of impact. Now, after a decade out of the dojo and watching a lot of UA-cam, my understanding is to stay relaxed all the way through. So my question is - was there a change is overall understanding, or are both correct (ie beginner and advanced)? Thx!!
