Man i really really enjoy these videos. As a self proclaimed car guy these guys tell me im not even close to a car guy. Love their absurd amount of knowledge and love to learn some cool things as well.
Cutting up city traffic in a Brabus Smart is heaven. I remember one time I had to take the highway and cross a bridge. I was amazed how easily that thing hit speeds exceeding 80mph and how composed it felt... until hitting an expansion joint and bunny hopping into another lane.. good times.
Kennan - to clarify, the 2014 991.1 GT3 had a Stop Sale (not a recall) during the initial delivery period for the rod bolt issue. All of those 2014’s received E engines. Subsequently, all 991.1 GT3s (not the RS) received a 10 year engine warranty due to the finger follower issue. This was not a recall. Depending on when an engine ‘failed’ due to the finger follower issue, the replacement engine was coded for the specific year/revision. The most, and last, updated spec was the G6 versions which are the most desirable versions as they received all of the upgrades and have been reliable to date.
The U2 Charger was cool. They help count down the distance to the ground and angle of the wing tips. I believe they also used Aussie Pontiac GTO's and LX Foxbod Mustangs in the past.
I mean, as a German, i think Kennan is basically a certified "Honorable German" and Filippo is of course Italian. So naturally those two go together! I would know, because growing up here in Southern Bavaria, 1/3 of my High School Class and my Town were Italians! Prost & Cheers from the Snow-Covered Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
Imagine the meeting where the engineers convinced the suits that a 7 speed manual was the solution to their problems, that had to be wild. Funnier still to me is the edict from a lead engineer who said, "I know, lets design and build a 7 speed manual"! and the reaction he received from the engineering team. What a bizarre way to spend development funds.
I love the fact that the 1M brought $5K more than the last auction. It speaks to the fact that C&B has real enthusiasts compared to the other online auction house. They might be bigger, but C&B is better.
fun fact, although AP1 S2000s have a slightly smaller displacement engine, they actually rev higher than the AP2, which allows more time in VTEC which = more fun
The Brabus Smart Cars are insanely fun! Didn't even know you got these in the USA! Here in Germany like 1 out of 5 Smart Cars i see are Brabus Versions, that's how good they are! Hell! The 60-something year old Neighbor of mine who is an Eastern-German Migrant (meaning an Eastern German who moved here after the Wall of the GDR was torn down) drives one of these and she even had Brabus modify the already modified Brabus Exhaust to be even louder, and it sounds amazing whenever she drives away from her Home! Prost & Cheers from the Snow-Covered Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
I sold 2 new 1997 Prowlers. If I remember correctly the MSRP was around $32,000. We did a silent auction and the winning bid was $117,000. The second was a random couple that walked in and traded a 40' Donzi twin power jet boat straight across. The wife hated the boat, and they'd put 40 hours on it in 2 years. They paid $240,000 for it new. We sold the boat 2 weeks later for $185k. 😮
I've done almost 9,000 miles in a 718 Spyder. I've never felt the suspension was too firm for every day use, especially in its softer setting. (*Public service announcement-- there is no such car as a 718 Boxster Spyder, no matter how much Cars and Bids insists that there is.)
Those Porsche Cayman GTS are great, don't know about the USA, but over here they're all pretty much Manuals! I know some Porsche "Purists" only count the 911 as real "Porsche" but that just means they're not real Porsche Enthusiasts Prost & Cheers from the Snow-Covered Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
As a German, in fact Bavarian, i claim Kennan and officially make him Bavarian! Not only does he do a great Bavarian-German Accent Impression, but he also is addicted to BMW! Prost & Cheers from the Snow-Covered Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
Thank you for featuring our M Coupe! Super happy to work with you guys and hope to continue doing so in the future!

Kennan the type of guy to share his winning bet candy with the person who lost the bet "because he's his friend"
How sweet
Doug the type of guy to eat all of it in their face
I usually dont watch non Doug videos, but i find myself enjoying this series. Keep it up!

Kennan the type of guy to say “Gee Wilikers” so as to not swear
Doug is the type of guy to steal Kennan’s candy
I didnt know the spyplane landed on a wheel layout like a bicycle. Thats cool!
I didn't realize Filippo had finally bought a car, and that it's a GTI. Congrats to Filippo!!
The U2 Charger was cool. They help count down the distance to the ground and angle of the wing tips. I believe they also used Aussie Pontiac GTO's and LX Foxbod Mustangs in the past.
I've seen a camaro's as U2 chase car. That was in 99
A family friend mine has a g8 gxp that was a u2 car, super cool
I can feel the bromance between these two
Emily = Filippo in drag.
@@dillonh321 omg 🤣
Yes i also like men and i can sense/feel it too like you do

Super cool to see my Brabus Smart being talked about. Thanks guys!

Videos like this are great because it really feels like it's about the cars, not just a reason for Doug to act like Doug for a video.
That is the coolest Charger PPV. I totally understand getting this.
The KitKat was a nice touch
Interesting to see the marker cooled somewhat on the 1Ms. My dad sold his VO 3k mile 1M about a year and a half ago for north of $100,000…
Please say out loud the price of each auction for those who don’t have a telescope to try to find the price on the screen
did Filipo just say an Aston Martin Vantage is "such an under the radar car"??
By the market's perspective
I looked it up a while ago because I couldn't believe it when I saw one in person but I think it's 440 something manual vantages produced

Dealership just like "thanks I guess?"

Shame not to feature the super low mileage 3rd gen 4Runner up for auction currently :)
Crunch bar and Kit Kats >>> You know ball
here after the bots but before anyone else
Nobody cares
@ you cared enough to comment buddy

The BMW 318Ti was a wild car
no one will read this but jdm ap1 f20c’s have higher compression than the ones we got
Kennan is incredible. ❤
Incredibly boring

The fact that the 1m had such low mileage annoys me. If you bought it, why didn't you drive it?!
Talk to the camera guys. When you're addressing the userbase/fans, talk to the camera.
Why does the front of the Aston look like a Mazda?
Kennan and Filippo are the kinda guys to talk off camera about how much better it is without Doug around.
Guys talking about hundred thousand dollar cars, placing bets of $1 chocolate bars, hilarious.
What was the bet that Filippo lost?
Filippo ruined the sleeves on that nice The North Face quarter zip...😉
THIS!
My co worker loves the clown shoe bmw lol
I really enjoy these series but I wish Filipino would dial down a little over selling the cars.
Not every car can be the one to have.
Ewww Kennan is so boring, hope he goes away soon
Who are they kidding? BaT is THE place to get the most money for your enthusiast vehicle. lmao
I'd agree but for the 1M in particular there hasn't been a higher sale all of last year on BaT.
BaT sucks
Not valuable niche models like the 1M.
Depends. I'm sure it's much easier to get lost in the all the noise over on BAT.
