Pretty sure the item cards are just in-game; I remember that being a thing in the little time I've played Deadlock. That being said, Mast does put out good videos.

as a min/max spirit grey talon main, I love to finally see him back. looking forward to new content with him! I found with the traps, procking them with the arrow is more of a situation where the edge of the cylinder of the arrow clips the ground right before hitting where the center mass of the middle of the trap is. this is why it's easier to hit from above. I reccomend when on flat ground trying to shoot it a little above where you think. if you're crouching you can even manage to hit the new trap hitbox and send the arrow flying past it
He does it as he plays. Every once in a while he does it after the game but when he does those he mentions that it’s a post game commentary. There was one I remember where he was playing vindicta and it was his first game of the day so he thought his aim would be bad but he ended up popping off so so did a post game commentary
5:42 You'd be surprised. So many games I take a week off and feel like a god when I hop back one. I don't know the logic behind it besides that it feels "fresher" so you don't go on autopilot.
the enemy pick in this game didn't really showcase how insane the new talon trap is, you can use it to just stop haze or dynamo ult (not sure if viscous ult would get cancelled, it's worth testing tho), you can charge an arrow and shoot it while the trap you just threw is still landing, it can be very quick and using it offensively is now viable af. With a bit of practice talon just has a 6k item with 14 sec cd
19:40 nope it's not a sandbox issue. The hitbox for triggering the trap is jank. When ur parallel to your trap, you have to aim for past the center but before the end of the trap. When ur in the air you can hit it directly or even p far to the side of center and it'll work.
This is meant as a sincere question and not an um akschually but do you know the eye of the walkers is a weakpoint like the head of the guardians? (Unless they changed it and I didn’t notice) Thought I’d ask because it looks like you don’t aim for it when you’re hitting walkers.

If you mean since people could invite other people, yes it absolutely has because I joined after that point and it absolutely was a weak point last time I played a few weeks ago. There were even patch notes like 2 months ago or so specifying that the walker moves its arms in a way that doesn’t block the eye weak point as much anymore.
Personally I think Talon is still a bit overturned. For some reason they keep giving his bow more gun damage when he annihilates with 2 so easy, and his charges shot does some of the most damage I've seen. Also with the hit issues with his charged arrow makes them even more unfair

Can the trap be detonated before it lands? If so it would be fun to try and toss it at people and 1 them and the trap at the same time.
