Glen Hansard is maybe the least appreciated artist of the total extra class. And it is only because he is obsessed with music and the humble, he does not need to do any extra promo. I saw him maybe 6 times or 7 live in the Czech republic, and he always plays with total commitment, whether playing for 300 listeners in the castle courtyard or for a full hall. He is a surreal artist!

Last year I had a pleasure to see Glen Hansard live and it was the best concert I’ve ever seen. He came to Poland with his band consists of guitars, piano, strings and winds instruments. Glen’s music is just like him - energetic and positive, that’s why I couldn’t stop myself from smiling during the entire show. He also played some songs full of magical folk sounds straight from his motherland - Irleand. But the most amazing thing that night was the connection between fans and artists such as moments of Glen’s little talk and singing together polish songs „Hej, sokoły” and „Płonie ognisko”. It was really unbelievable evening.
I stumbled across Glen Hansard after watching the movie Once. I only watched it because I LOVE movies about music or musicians. Couldn't agree more! He's a channell as I've not experienced in music. He has a love of the 'Holy', and LIVES IT more importantly through his humility and service to his craft, versus image!
Could sing the phonebook. Brilliant live
Wow this is better than any therapy session I've ever had ... Lots of tears and smiles. I'm left full of hope for myself... and humanity in general. We are capable of so much, capable of this.... thanks Glen!

A song writer who’s amazing voice, lyrics and music that pierce your heart and are matched by the depth of his feelings and his beautiful soul.
Where have you been all my life?!
He is so humble and so connected to his band and the audience, so in the zone, the energy is overwhelming
I love his voice and music soothes the heart
It's so good to listen to Glen at this time of year, it's like he transports me back to Dublin and Grafton Street for a little while...:)
That guitar switch at 56:00 deserves to be in the Roadie Hall of Fame.
My twin daughters worked for CBS at the time and they said he played before the show.We have been big fans ever since.Just saw him at Radio City this year☘️☮️
Easter Sunday and have just missed mass listening to this and have to say no apologies as I have learnt more about myself and life in the last hour than any sermon would have taught me!!!
Simply cannot get enough of Glen's magical voice, songwriting. Always a breath of fresh air.
take a bow lad, that was incredible
Didn't know he even did a Letterman recording. He is something else. A ntional treasure indeed. Our very own Dylan.
Seen Glen 3 times and have no problem putting all three in my top 10 shows of all time.
LMAO DID GLEN JUST DO HIS OWN INTRO?! hahaha love that man
Props to the entire strings and brass section; they've really accentuated Glen's voice and he really knew how to work them into each song.
Viva the memory and music of Mic Christopher! 👍🎸
Ich freue mich dieses schöne Konzert gefunden zu haben...
55:12 This part still give me the chills. Broken string won't make this guy stop
I saw him some 26 years ago and watched him restring a guitar himself and retune it mid song without dropping a single line, absolutely unreal

My favourite concert, by anyone, ever. And I've seen Alison Krauss and Union Station, LIVE, in Bangor, Maine. This guy is amazing.
Loved this. I haven't seen much of his stuff outside of Once.
Truly awesome performer and one I would love to see live someday.
This is the best concert that ever happened.
Best 1:19:04 seconds in the middle of the night I've had in a while.
