I’ve been following your advice left and right with a guy I’m seeing currently, not expecting to see a significant difference. I gotta say, Matthew, your advice has elevated myself in my own eyes, and therefore in his too. There have been times I’ve said to him things you have suggested that seem very blunt for my shy-sweet-natured character, and I’ve expected him to run away, but the complete opposite has happened. Simple as that. I don't do that anymore because life is too short to be wasting time on unreliable people. It's not much easier to separate the mature from the immature by just leaving the woman if she's attempting to play mind games with me :)
I hear people say don't play hard to get it's childish, that's never gonna stop. Alot of girls plays hard to get so in turn alot of guys end up playing hard to get. It quite frankly it works. If you're not a challenge you don't attract the opposite sex. It sucks to hear but it's true.

Okay so what i am supposed to do is to initiate a conversation by either giving a compliment or by asking a question that is appropriate according to the situation. After this i will continue doing what i was before and by this he will get assurance that its okay to talk to me. And if he restarts the conversation its now him who chose to talk to me and if he doesn't restart i have nothing to loose and also i just created a moment that might contribute in reducing my fear of speaking to a stranger or lets say specifically to those guys i find attractive. I took notes hopefully i dont forget it when it is needed
I actually do comment on men's shoes because I like them. I'm genuinely interested in mens footwear.

And just like that, Mathew is brilliant. Although, now I understand why when I was just making conversation (not an overture), sometimes people would very gently let me know that they weren’t interested. Now I understand why they thought that I was, lol. The funny part is, I only talk to people that I’m not attracted to, because then I’m comfortable and I can just be myself and I don’t feel that bit of myself which is embarrassed.

Finally some usable advice...
I was actually sad when you took that sweet dog away.
As a career sales person whose very good at engaging prospects, I have to say ,this advice is dead on
I subscribed to you after a break up and I really thought these videos would help me understand relationships better, but honestly, if you have to make somebody chase you they aren’t it. If you have to jump through these hoops to catch or sustain interest with somebody it’s not the one. When you meet the right person everything will come natural. There won’t be these stupid rules or guidelines. I met the love of my life last year and I’ve never had to play games with him or make him chase me. The right person should rescue you from all the dumb childish games modern dating has normalized. Just my opinion.
I tend to agree. But you also shouldn't completely bypass the human nature. Those "tricks" are just an easy way to ease any contact for both. I think it's cool to send the guy a message that "I'd like to talk to you" because even if he's the one, he might be shy or afraid he looks like a moron.
So imo, the woman sending the message and the guy remaining free of engaging or not, it's a great approach because there's no pressure whatsoever and it eases the first contact.

I would take that compliment at face value but wouldn't necessarily assume she's into me. On the other hand lots of smiles work and eye contact while laughing at my jokes is a sure sign.
Basically go up to him and compliment him (basically saying it’s OK for him to talk to you) and if he wants to reciprocate he’ll reinitiate to talk back to you. Then you’ll know! Yay!
