Good thing you make these videos Post. You have the patience of a saint even after they treated you like a common thug because of their incompetence in keeping their parking lots, signs and trails in order.
Very interesting border hike. In the very north-western part of Finland we have similar trails - of course in more tundra-like landscape - that zick-zack the border between Finland and Norway (that border being complete opposite of our eastern border to Russia security-wise, since there has been Freedom of Movement Pact between Nordic countries ever since 1970's).
This is great! I knew this trail existed and I've wanted to go check it out but it's a bit of a drive for me (I'm in western MA). Maybe I'll actually do it one of these days. I expected it would be more popular!

The cut area that runs between to the 2 countries is called "the slash". It starts in Maine on the Atlantic and runs the whole border to the Pacific.

You should go to the STOP & SHOP in Newtown CT there are to big about 7 foot culforts in the front of there parking lot in a drainage ditch.

I love that you say zick-zack ... that's far more charming than our zig-zag
I believe you can cross all of England and just live off blackberries that grow at the side of the road and trails.
