Nxai Pan National Park may not be on your radar for your Botswana Trip, but it should be! Elephants just breeze through the camp and the early morning waterhole gathering is pretty special. For more inspiration and info check out the blog: asimplyfab.life/nxai-pan-more-than-you-think/ And thanks for watching!
We were there in May and stayed in Camp site 3 right across from where you stayed, and that big male walked back and forth to the septic system all day and night. Quite as a mouse. Startled me several times by coming up behind me within 10 feet or so. Nxai pans water holes were always something. So much wildlife all taking their time. We also did Elephant sands and there was several dozen in the waterhole at any given time.
This is such a cool little national park. Really overdelivers - you've got the waterhole going, that remote feeling, dry heat, and the elephants just do their thing😊. Lovely! (I wonder how many of the elephants are making the crossing from Elephant Sands to here?🤔😉)
Also had a great encounter with an Ellie in Nxhai. How big are those Ellie’s 👏👏. And Elephant Sands is a gem too
WOW!
Great video
