- For Halloween I thought it would be good to do our first NON reptile Animal spotlight so we're going to start off with the Asian Forest Scorpion! One of the world's largest scorpion species and most popular pet arachnids, but what are they like in the wild?

Just got mine today. I’m stoked man. Thanks for the info.
I have a Asian forest, and 37 different species of tarantula. I've had a love for arachnids, reptiles and amphibians since I could walk. I was also blessed with parents that would let me keep them. Great informational video. It's not poisonous, lol.
Thank you!
As a lifetime vampire, always thought they would be perfect. Retired now, just waiting on finding the perfect location for the forever home.
Studying habitat recreation and care now. Thinking Asian, Arizona and possibly emperor are my best options. Might have to go out and hunt for a few Arizonas, as that is where I am currently.
Great vid dude!
Awesome video great information 👍 I got mine a few months ago as baby he's been growing lately
Very informative, thank you.
Amezing video! Look like you have Hoorns ! love it!
I've just got one of these and it's such a fascinating pet.
I picked up my first asian forest scorpion yesterday, I've named her Binx 🥰 I've other arachnids but this is my 1st scorpion and i love her! She's still got some growing to do but is a total unit 😂
Great video👏👏👏
Have a friend with 20 babies. She said I could have some. Thanks for helping me get started.
I have a H.petersi, I think she’s pregnant and I’m excited to see babies! Also, in the wild, these scorpions would sometimes eat small lizards and baby mice, although they shouldn’t be fed them in captivity because they haven’t Ada-ted to digesting them
Loved the video, thanks man
Thank you!
Love the video. I have two Asian Forest scorpions gunz & roses
Very inspired names!
Daughter has two of them-really nice pets! Thx for the good info!
No problem!

i plan on getting an asian forest scorpion once i move in with my dad after im done with college. i wanna name it Vlad the Impaler
I have a Heterometrus spinifer Malaysien Black Forest Scorpion and his/her name is Coffee Bean. I noticed he/she is very noisy during the night time as he/she is exploring the enclosure and taping his/her claws on the glass. Interesting…
Great video! 👍 Whats the difference between the spinifer, longimanus and th third one I can't remember?
We have these here in Thailand, in fact, I just saw one outside my house a few hours ago that was quite a bit bigger than this one.
Just got my asian forest scorpion sling last friday..3instar looks nice..
diference = poison : if you bite then you die , venom : if it bite you then you die
Thanks man great video😄👍. I have an asian forest scorpion and i needed info on its care and etc
No problem!
I just got myself 2 forrest scopions. They are amazing creatures
Informative and not too slow like a lot about this subject
Great video so much info. May I ask is it true that they say this scorpions are parthenogenic? Is that true?
I've got one of these ☺. As well as a brazilian salmon pink birdeater sling. I won't be handling the tarantula due to the hairs, but any advise for handling my scorpion? You seemed so relaxed, like it was no big deal. I'd like to get to that point. Not that I plan to handle it often, but if I do, I'd rather be cautious and confident than scared.

i got one for my birthday
We have this common in our home. We terminate it when we find one because its a pest.
I have L3 Heterometrus Spinifer and yes... i was eating then XD XD XD
Just got one
Hey there. I caught and have been taking care of a Northwest Forest Scorpion (uroctonus mordax) for a couple months now. I'm still actively seeking research on this species, but it doesn't seem anyone is studying them, really. Do you have any helpful tips or facts about this species? I've been following the care guides for Asian forest scorpions, and she's been doing quite well so far, but I'm more interested in the way these species differ and whether I could be doing anything more to care for my pet.
can i use sand as a bedding for one?
how did u get it to be so calm? i have a vietnamese forest scorpion and i wanna handle him but he is very skittish, can i like get him used to handling by like using gloves a lot or is it individual?
I got very fortunate with mine, it's been pretty chill since I got it. If you want to start handling it yeah use gloves and maybe get it out with a cup or something not your hands
@@unchartedwild2166 Thanks for answering! when would be the best time to handle him? would he just sting my hand straigth down or? im scared to get stung but i wanna handle him so bad, ive been using gloves lately
@@Nxcturnxlx depends on what kind of forest scorpion. I asian forest scorpions and vietnamese forest scorpions are different. it does all probably just depend on the temparment of the scorpion too
@@Nxcturnxlx Fortunately the sting isn't really any worse than a bee sting, or so I've heard. Actually, I've heard bee stings are worse.

Hello Sir, I have a lot of black scorpion so we can get the milking for use the medicine or not sie
Would I need to buy a heat lamp or humidity gauges for this type of scorpion
How easy is it to handle a forest scorpion for a first scorpion owner
I love these creepy critters! Now I have to find a chick that is into this just as much as I am 😂.
😍❤️🔥😊
I wanna get an Asian forest scorpion, but I don’t wanna buy a bunch of decor or extra stuff it doesn’t need or want, but I wanna make sure I have everything it needs. How should I start?
Tbh I got a scorpion not to terrible long ago I got a Asian forest scorp and since I’ve gotten it I’ve been super confused it still is decently small but since I started to feed it I notice that I never actual have watched it eat and it has concerned me a little cause he’s never taken the food from the tongs and at times I Leave a worm or cricket in his cage just in hopes that he eats it is there any reason why he isn’t or should I be worried or what’s up? I read that if they are shedding that they may not eat but some help/advice would be really great :)
I got one from a Petco and she is for sure pregnant right now.
I have no idea what I need to do with her or her babies. She is in a smaller tank should I move her to a larger one or leave her alone and just move the babies when they are ready? Any advice is appreciated!
Where can I buy a breeding pair
How long the range between every molting periode? I have a 4i asian forest scorpion but it havent molted yet since i buy it like 4 months ago
For an adult it could be once a year if that
@@unchartedwild2166 okay thank you sir
@@z3fff123 No problem!
I didn't catch if they are communal??
They can be but scorpions tend to be cannibalistic so I'm not 100% sure
I have one ☺️
32% survival rate for scorplings 7% marginal
is that an RIT shirt?
Indeed!
@@unchartedwild2166 sick! im there rn!
Yah mere pass Scorpion aur mere pass mein Jude hai agar ji aapko ine chijon ki jarurat hai to hamare pass Raabta Kariye Hamare Sath Rakha karna
Honestly I own one and she uses her tail to kill her prey. 😂 I thought she would use her big meaty claws but no she prefers to sting.
Some might! All of the emperor/AF scorps I've worked with rarely use it
Some snakes actually are poisonous! Rhabdophis keelback snakes are poisonous AND venomous
I have a reptile room with tons of cool exotic reptiles such as tegus, boas, pythons, chameleon, etc. However I just got my first scorpion last night and I absolutely love it. This is an amazing video and very educational.
