Koh Phangan to Bangkok TRAVEL (Surat thani to Bangkok by train & ferry)

- Hey guys in this Thailand travel vlog we will be taking ferry from Koh Phangan to Surat thani, then we will take train from Surat thani to Bangkok. So this was a very long travel but we have managed to travel Surat thani to Bangkok on a budget.
Ofcourse there had to be a problem with our last minute train booking in Thailand but it was not that bad as we could stay over night in Surat thani town before we had on the 14h train journey to Bangkok. We have paid around 600 baht for the train ticket (very budget friendly) which we bought in the train station when on the arrival.
As always things did not go to plan so sit back to find out what happened.

Goto Samyan Mitrtown, MRT, Wat Hualampong Exit. On the underground floor, there is a barbeque chicken stall called “Kai Yang Jirapan”. Probably one of the first Thailand franchise business, over 50 years ago. Great Thai original chicken. Try it.

Very interesting travel vlog. I had considered doing that journey in reverse but you have convinced me not to 😆😆😆. It's too much travelling for me nowadays. 😉

Does the train stop every so often in different cities? If so, for how long? And if you decide to explore the town, can you get back on the train in a day or two, OR do you have to buy a new ticket? How is the bathroom on the train?
Train does stop in different cities but we always bought ticket from A to B so cannot answer your question unfortunatelly. I think if you get off you have to buy a new ticket as there is always time and date on the ticket. Toilet situation is different on every train, some are newer some are older so hard to predict.

At least you're in the city where there're many food choices. I don't eat chicken feet, wings, or internal organs because foods are abundant here so there's no need to eat such parts. I only eat lean meats. My friends who live near the sea also eat like me.
I see 😉 Danny eats lean meat only as well and Diggy will eat anything 😅😅😅
I recommend Surat Thani plane to Bangkok for 1 hour 30$.😂😂😂
When we were looking for plane tickets it was 120 usd plus we have 20kg luggage 😉 it would cost too much otherwise we would have gone on a plane 😊
