You are welcome 🥰 we wanted to show everyone that Uk government advice is wrong. We felt completely safe there and we LOVE Hat Yai as you can see from our big smiles 😊😊😊
Hi Non 😉 yes is not dangerous at all 😊 but we called this video like that to show that this is completely wrong. We love Hat Yai 🥰 and felt completely safe there, Uk government advice was for only essential travel
Being the nearest major city to the restive deep south, Hat Yai is unfortunately and unfairly included in travel advisories and warnings issued by foreign governments and international organizations. The city is generally safe. Its crime rate is low. The risk to terrorism is not much higher than other cities outside the restive deep south, including Bangkok. The restive deep south includes the three provinces of Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat and the four districts of Chana, Thepha, Nathawi, and Sabayoi in Songkhla Province. Hat Yai City is the seat of Hat Yai District, which is not a part of the restive deep south. I'm glad that you enjoy visiting Hat Yai, my hometown. Thank you for sharing your lovely story.
I don't know you guys got the news or information from...??? Hat Yai it's not the most dengerous place of Thailand at all.I'm Thai never heard that Hat Yai is not the safe place.your gov gaving you the wrong information.but it's okay.Don't worry you were there and exploring all around over the southern and have a nice time there.Good luck.
Hi 🥰 yes you are right is not dangerous at all so that's why we called this video like that to show everyone that Uk government advice is wrong and not true. We felt completely safe over there and we loved our time in Hat Yai 🥰🥰🥰
Really enjoying this series of videos team D & D 😁. I was checking back and I last stayed in Hat Yai in 2011. Sadly a large bomb had gone off in a shopping mall previous to my visit and you could see the damage to the building. Locals told me to be careful in shopping centres but out on the street no problem 😉. Would it put me off going back again............? No as I think the risk is no worse than visiting London or Paris. Also you don't get smiling Thai faces or decent Thai green curry in either of those places 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It is definitely on my list for next year 😋 .
Oh wow, that is crazy 🫣 How amazing John I hope you will send us some pictures from your trip 😉 would love to see where you going to end up 😊😊😊 2011 is actually when me and Danny started to go out together 🥰
This is not only a untrue statement but could be potentially damaging to Hatyai. I've been there many times and its as safe if not safer than any other place. This is complete misinformation and shouldn't be taken seriously. Its a great place.
1. Uber there? 2. Many mosque? 3. Is a month too long to visit? Whats a good local area to stay with day and night markets with many mosque? But close to busy/ tourist areas
I live and was born in Hatyai you must be confused and got a very wrong information from your government or from anywhere.. It is the opposite from your information Hatyai is probably one of the safest city in whole Thailand ..PS ..I guess The information you have from your government I think they mean 3 provinces in the deep south which is pattani, yala, and narathiwat where they have a political issue and violence in the past definitely not Hatyai...thank you for visiting my hometown
Well yes we agree its a safe place full of lovely locals and delicious food 🥰 The information we had it was from Uk government website at the time when we have visited so no this was not wrong info
The market in the Clock Tower area is called "Talad Sod" or "Fresh Market". Catered more towards local people, it is a municipal market run by Hat Yai City Municipality. The one that is nearer to city centre is called "Talad Kim Yong" or "Kim Yong Market". It is a private-run market that is catered towards both local people and tourists.

Hat Yai, Songkhla Province is not a dangerous area. In fact, Hat Yai is like the capital of southern Thailand because it is not too far away and not too close to central Thailand. It is the cultural center of the South with its own dialect, food, traditions and culture of Muslims that blend well with Thai Buddhism. *** In the part of the red area or RedZone, it is located deep down to the end of the South, which is the area of 3 provinces adjacent to the Malaysian border. The red area there is a very beautiful place with Buddhist temples and Muslim mosques as well as beautiful beaches and seas. It's a pity that there is unrest there but foreigners have been there but it's only uncertain. Tourists are not the main target of terror groups there. Most of the targets are civil servants, police, soldiers, teachers and villagers only, but tourists may accidentally be in the place where terrorism is taking place, therefore it is very dangerous and unpredictable.
Terrorism is always active in the Red Zone(3 provinces on the border of Thailand and Malaysia), often deceived by planting bombs to lure officers to sniper and kill. In addition, car bombs and motorcycle bombs are used to park them in various places, which is why traveling around this area is dangerous and uncertain. No one knows where the terrorist will plant the car bomb where you and everyone else may enter. But that operation almost never reached Songkhla and Hat Yai.

Hat Yai is one district of Songkhla Province and some districts of Songkhla is the yellow area on the border of Songkhla Province which is adjacent to the RedZone.

Thank you for visiting Thailand. I would like to say something for people who visit Thailand. Thailand like anywhere else in the world, has crime like any other country. Even though our country seems safe for tourists, but I want to tell tourists that for women who come to Thailand must try not to go to a secluded place, do not try to go alone 2:2 with Thai people. Especially if you go to the nightlife. Be mindful and avoid taking a taxi alone if possible. Like other countries, Thailand also has news of rape. Don't trust Thai people's etiquette too much. You should be careful with yourself. The fact that Thais are multi-ethnic sometimes have neighboring countries or even Thais who commit crimes. Yesterday, I watched a TV news channel that brought news that a female tourist She rented a motorbike to ride to a waterfall in Thailand. and contacted one of the trainees to get directions to the waterfall she wanted to visit. He lured her into a secret forest to rape. Fortunately, she escaped without being raped. Thailand has been cultivated to be the friendliest and most welcoming of tourists. But of course, there are bad people in our society as well. I want tourists to be as careful as you would be in your own country. Finally, thank you for visiting our country. Hope you enjoy our upcountry travel experience.
LOL! I have been invited to come to Hat Yai and be an Escort! Because I am a Trans. Woman 69 years old and Fat I was told that I would be in HI demand?????? I TOLD her she is crazy! Imagine it would sure not be all fun! Interesting idea though!
Just dont understand why no google links to where youre staying what youre paying and places u shop n eat. This helps us travellers and makes your channel flourish.
Sure great recommendation. We do leave a links sometimes if we see piticular point if interest or if we go to a restaurant. Think anyone can google where Night Bazaar is or the markets we went to 😉 with street food venders it is impossible as they do not have a location on google sometimes. I will sit down later on today and include more links with the locations 😉

What area should I stay in ? A area that a mosque, day markets and night markets are walking distance as well?
@@justice4all997 maybe around walking street as this was very central and a lot of food options there and shopping but I am not sure if there was a mosque around 🤔
But food at Hat Yai are still good anyways
Food in Hat Yai is amazing 🥰🥰🥰
Uk gov allows travel to Hat Yai. Several years ago this wasn’t the case. Good vid otherwise
Thanks RC yes but the view around many foreigners has not changed from what we have heard that is why we wanted to bring that to people attention and show them that this is not the case anymore 😉
Thank you for watching 🥰

Kao Tao is the most dangerous for tourists.
KOH TAO??? 🤔🫣🫨
What is the name of your clip? Hat Yai is the most dangerous city in Thailand. Terrible. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Maybe read it properly again 😉 I think you must have missed the "?" and the question in the title "Is it" 😅.
Some people liked it, maybe they have read title properly 🤔🤔🤔
Thanks for the comment anyway 😉👍
ข้าวเหนียวไก่ทอด เป็นที่นิยมของคนภาคใต้ของไทย. มีหอมแดงทอดโรยหน้า. และน้ำจิ้มไก่. คิดแล้วหิว😁
Oh yes this chicken is the best 👍❤️🇹🇭

❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Im refering to Yala and Pattani.
Maybe in the future.

Hatyai is the weekend tourist place for Malaysians. Where did you hear this nonsense of it being unsafe?.
A pity you did not venture further south where bloggers except for sissy Paddy Doyle who went there.
Hey Eddie as we said in the beginning of a video its a travel advice from Uk government. We did not go down further down south this time as we runned out of time as we had to go back to meet with a family later on. Thanks for watching.
Thanks you so much From Thai Barrister-at-law56
