I actually find it *more* imposing with that giant bolt-cutter head attached to a still huge body that's only about 7-10 feet shorter than was believed for the last fifty years. Imagine attaching a Carcharadon megalodon skull to a modern Great White to get what I mean.
Of course, we never can, that's both the most exciting and frustrating part of the science! The body estimates do draw a very good correlation with other placoderms, but the one variable that seems to differ is the tail length, so maybe the length was longer because of the tail which would certainly help with pushing forward this more dense weight
But it is becoming increasingly obvious, I can deny it no longer! I am small. - Dunkleosteus 2023
I love the shrunkleosteus. It has improved the creature's plush toy potential by leaps and bounds.
LOL!
8:06 - Nothing appeared in the corner. 😞
If anything it is scarier now. It still has a strong jaw but is now much faster and more agile.
I'm inclined to agree!

Bad comparison, a megalodon skull is the size of a white shark.
Great video! Easy to learn and in a short period of time
So pleased you enjoyed it :)
First glance, snapping turtle.
And maybe just as mean!
Dunkleosteus is a very interesting type of extinct fish. 💪🏻🙏🏻✨
So a prehistoric Parrot/ Trigger fish? Then why the need for such bulk?
Distractingly cute, I love listening to this man.... Almost at much as I love just watching him .... I'm so conflicted ‼️...
🙂 ❤
Those things could bite you right in half and then swallow both pieces.
The only more humiliating downgrade has been for Spinosaurus.
Maybe, but Danny DeVito is still popular so there’s still hope for Dunky 🤷🏻♂️
Of course,we can't just 100% accept the new size estimates as the only and unchanged truth forever.

Too short!
Not the fish.
The video. :)
