I have seven different buffalo models. My rarest buffalo is Taima the very last breyer connoisseur model. The buffalo was my very first breyer model back in the 70's. My favorite molds are the wildlife, cattle and of course horses. I'm addicted to breyer too. Keep up the good work Candice! :)
What a great collection!! I was obsessed with the horses when I was a kid but we were poor and any money I earned went to riding at a local stables.I didn't even know they made other animals.❤️🇨🇦
Hello! And thank you!! We didn't have much money when I was little either, *especially* for Breyer, and I wanted them SO much! I remember seeing the deer on the toy store shelf when I was a kid and wondered if they made them because of the Bambi movie. Lol 🙈😅
My name is Joel. I've been collecting breyer since 1969. My collection is pretty large (3100+). I'm almost 59 and I'm thinking about downsizing my collection. I like your videos. :)
I love the elk! I bet the elephant is super cute. The moose is fun too, though he really did startle me when I first met him. And the bison is the cutest horse-bear! Big ol' wooly head. That's really charming about the goat. I didn't even notice him smiling, but I bet he was SO happy to finally escape that box and smell the fresh outdoors! 😄
Some of my favorites are the non equine molds, especially the cows. My current wishlist for non equine is definitely Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. I love how they are made and hope to obtain all the bears aswell❤
That's a really sweet set. I wish you luck in getting all the bears! They're a charming mold. I love the cows too.. I'd love to get a few of them but it seems they're a collector's favorite and always sell for quite a sum!
I just discovered your channel tonight, via your Breyerfest (Prost)unboxing video.I too enjoy the information you share about the molds and their variations! I've never owned any of Breyer's models other than horses, but if I were to choose one,I would probably go with the elk.I like the lighter color,he looks just like a snippet-sized bit of video I captured a few years ago, when in California. There was a small herd of elk by the roadside and I was absolutely thrilled to get video of the adult bull elk.He was in motion, and the Breyer model looks just like him!
What an amazing experience! Thank you so much for sharing this elk story with me! California holds a special little place in my heart and I hope to go back there soon. And I'm so happy you enjoy the info I give on model variations and history! It's a lot of work, but I'm thrilled it's noticed and appreciated! Welcome!!
I remember my mom having the doe when I was little but I don't know what happened to her. Sucha fun video! I fell out of collecting breyer 20 years ago so I've been enjoying all your videos and learning about what Breyer has been up to in 20 years. I missed a lot! Wish I could collect again.
I really appreciate your comment! Collecting can be hard; financially, space-wise, and even emotionally (getting the one you wanted or not). It's also easy to end up with "too many models" quickly. I've done it. And maybe I shouldn't encourage it--haha--but I wonder if you could hunt online and/or flea markets for a little doe that looked like yours, and get "just one," for sentimental reasons? I love having a heart (model) horse, or in your case, a deer. ❤ Either way, I really appreciate you being here. Thanks for watching!
I love them. I still havent got the moose or the black bears and I live in Nh with moose crossing signs and bears in my back yard. I have the deer family set ,the elk and the bison. I may customize him into white bison. I really would love everyone of the breyer wild animals. You have done amazing .
Ooh! I'm envious of folks who live near (or in) the woods! But.. I don't think I could have a sighthound like I do if I lived that close to wild critters. I'd never see him again! I highly recommend the moose! It's surreal to open one up and first see that face. And good luck on getting a white bison (my wishlist too!), however you decide to add one to your collection!
I said I was content about my collection but...omg I forgot about the bison. Def need one of those (or maybe two)!! LOL ps love that the ravens and even magpies were hanging out with you while you were filming!! 😍💖
You've done an excellent job going through the list and making them interesting. Love how you placed then in their natural habitats. I've got the elephant in original box. Only because it was my Mom's favorite. God rest her sole. And the ram. From my Step Dad. God rest his sole to. I could never part with them. I've been wanting the Moose/Deer but got into collecting the Beef. You dud a great job. 😊👍 Love the bloopers. 😁
Thank you so much! I love that you have an elephant and ram to honor your mom and step dad. ❤ My mom is still with me, but my rose grey PAF will always be the model that honors her. I love the bovine! I got my Bunyan and he now needs some friends!! Here's to you getting some deer and a moose (or few) soon!
Hooray! I appreciate it! I hope you can find your first wildlife model soon. Sometimes they pop up online for a fair price, but flea markets might be a better place to check!
I would love a new release on a wildlife mold! And preferably something everyone can get; not just a lottery web special. These molds are so fun and a significant part of Breyer history!
There is a giant traditional sized Wolf!! I seen in a group on Facebook! I didn't know but apparently it was supposed to be part of the wilderness collection but they chose not to release him I guys they had made a few and then auctioned them off so there may only be 10 to 20 of them!!

Love how you go through the history of the models as well. Your channel is great !
Thank you very much, Molly! Happy to have you here!
The very first pronghorn that I added to my collection was in 1980 when I lived in Ogden UT. I love this mold.
I love it too. I'd love to find a nice copy of the earlier model.. the shading and color is so different than the later one I've got.

I have an elk and an elephant but really want a moose and a bison! When you released that mountain goat it actually looked like it was smiling 🙂

They're like big horsebears! ❤ And YES, so many critters outside were talking a lot when the thunder wasn't!

They need to bring them back in a Tradition scale for sure 😊
I would love a new release on a wildlife mold! And preferably something everyone can get; not just a lottery web special. These molds are so fun and a significant part of Breyer history!
I have many of the animal molds. My most favorite is the buffalo.
That's a good one! I finally got a white one on that mold. I'd love to find a Waban one day.
