  • This is very important with how your pit will maintain heat and not lose your prime. So far still a very easy set up to get going! However I failed to show the 30 minute burn in at 350 degrees. This pretty much seasons your pit at the same time removes manufacturer oils. Check them out!

    Mine came with a little bag of pellets that you’re supposed to dump in the fire box. Then you can fill the hopper, turn it on until it gets to 1 , then turn the power off and on again. Then you’re good to go.

    Thanks for the instructional video on this! My question is after it's reached 150 THEN you can adjust to what ever temp? Also can you adjust how much smoke?? ?

    • @RichsRiverSmokersWestVirginia
      @RichsRiverSmokersWestVirginia  6 років тому +2

      +Matt Donaldson no after the pit temp rises 3 degrees you can set it for what ever you want I just got with 150 because that's best recommended temp for smoking! You adjust the smoke with the temp of the cooker! The hotter the less smoke! Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!

      Don’t adjust the temperature until it reaches 150 , very important step I learned on mine. Otherwise the temperature fluctuates.
