    Hey Eric, great vid - I always learn something new. I must say my wife and I had a great laugh at your expense. My wife knows the bilimbi as kamias and when she saw it she got pretty jazzed, as that is what her Mom used to make fish sinagang in her childhood. She remarked it was pretty sour, so to see your visceral reaction to eating it - well, it just cracked her up and left her with tears in her eyes. (I must admit we replayed it several times - lol). Thanks for being the guinea pig on these experiments. As an aside we just purchased a Harvest Right and watched with interest, and some dismay I may add, your first vid on the freezing problems you had, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you fixed it.     Wow! Good episode! Glad to see the result of the soursop. I agree, I could not come to like the texture of the fresh fruit. With all my buddies here in Florida growing it, they just couldn't understand why I didn't eat it. They are from the Islands. I always would juice it for mixed drinks. I have freeze dried some dragon fruit after I saw you doing it and my friends are now bringing their harvest to me to FD. I will be trying out the soursop. Thank you.

    I frequently come out with a bumper crop of tomatoes. After canning all of the paste tomatoes my pantry can handle, what do I do with the super-tasty beefsteaks, salad, and cherry tomatoes I have left? I would LOVE to know how to freeze dry tomatoes to preserve them. They're pretty watery, does freeze drying concentrate tomato flavor or destroy it?

    I have wanted to know about the taste of durian freeze dried. Will you freeze dry(Be prepared for the smell when cutting it can be obnoxious)?

    that's belimbing wuluh, different with just (belimbing=starfriut), and every time I eat it that,my asthma always flares up, hahaha,but i got addict with that taste

      Correcto. The little sour fruit I am eating is also known as the Averrhoa bilimbi, or bilimbi for short. I wasn't expecting that explosion in my mouth!!

    Hello Eric. You do know that there are different varieties of blackberries, some tart, some sweet and others highly aromatic. Can you try the sweeter version with Brix above 11 and maybe Tayberry or Loganberries since these two are the best?

    I also need if possible the top 5 tasteful sausages list that you may have experienced since I also do Heat cured sausages in Sous vide for my family and would like your opinion.

      Black berries are in very short supply where I live. I basically can only get what is locally grown by my neighbors. I'd love to try different varieties. Maybe someone out there is growing some of the sweeter ones. I bet those would be super tasty!
