Burnt and wire brushed to stain and give the wood a 3d distressed texture.
Then a light white wash and coat of clear oil based poly.

Nice job, you can get a similar flame effect using black paint, thinned down slightly, paint it on then wipe it off, when dry sand it back again... The paint soaks into the grains of the wood giving it that aged blackened patina...
