It’s crazy how we’re in a point where everyone is begging for Spider-man to be more grounded while simultaneously begging for Batman to heighten its reality, and everyone is right on both counts!

Sony doesn't care about making an interesting, coherent or even entertaining narrative. their only objective with this disaster of a "cinematic universe" is to keep the movie rights to Spider-Man and related characters in a chokehold
Facts. Sony has demonstrated over the years that they will sacrifice the quality of the story if they can guarantee that the films will make money. And so far, they aren’t. Venom was a lucky break. Everything else after hasn’t made nowhere near the amount of money that the first Venom made. And the reviews are getting worse and worse. And now they’re trying to use Marvel Studios and Spider-Man 4 to fix their poorly written universe and force a connection with Tom’s Spider-Man.

Why do i feel like Sony is putting Knull in Venom 3 so that they can give Venom his logo while not breaching their MCU deal. "No Kevin, we didnt put a Spider-Man logo on our Venom! We gave him Knull's logo. The one that looks like a spider, but it isnt. It belongs to Knull. It's Knull's symbol, not a Spider-Man logo"
Considering the director of Spidey 4, if it is a grounded story then he’s a great pick as the character and real stunt work were the best parts of Shang chi. If the multiverse Spidey 4 rumours are true then he’s not a great pick as the skills that are expected for multiverse (big cgi fights, marvel references) were the worst parts of Shang chi
I'd agree but then I remember how Shang-Chi devolved into utter slop in its third act with two giant CG dragons and grey CG backgrounds. Completely jumped the shark
Honestly, it's genuinely kind of wild to try and have Knull now. Knull only worked in the comics BECAUSE it was a global level threat that had the entire Marvel line up there to handle this Symbiote issue. It let them venom-up a bunch of heroes to turn them into villains. Eddie had so much more character development and backstory. Like, given the clear military antagonist stuff that's being shown, it'd be way cooler to have this lead into an Agent Venom / Anti-Venom story and ALSO maybe throw in some more superpowered supporting cast. Like... it'd be kinda wild to use these movies to introduce Ben Reilly or Kaine Parker. Not 100% on the deal between Sony and Marvel, but it'd get a Spider-man type character into these. And make the whole joke of it be that they just don't want to talk about Clone Saga shit. Maybe Deathlok. There's a wild one to try and pull but would expand the world a bit. You just have to have a broader background cast of powered individuals before Knull WORKS. If you bring him down to a solo-able fight for Venom, he becomes a joke. If you throw a properly powered Knull at Eddie by his lonesome, he's gonna get stomped.
I've been saying it for years. Sony could literally have their own Spider-Man by using Kaine. He's the perfect edgy teen antihero for Sony to capitalize on and rival Disney. If they stopped sleeping on him, everything would've already been fine from the start. Kaine fighting Venom, Morbius and Kraven, then once they've been introduced, give them their own solo movies. Done.
@@radrno7I mean, not really, he is still a spidersona, what we saw on madame web is pretty much all they can make with spidersonas without falling on copyright (I could be totally wrong)
@@cristobalbarra583 If they got to show Ezekiel using his spider powers so prominently AND with a full on costume (that wasn't even necessary to begin with), they absolutely could use Kaine. Even if they can't use the name Scarlet Spider because of "spider" being on the title (for some weird contract line), they could just name it 'Scarlet' or even better: 'Kaine'. It's so easy to market on it. "Who's Kaine?" Spider-Man but without the responsabilities. Everyone will recognize that and want to watch it. "Oh but why would people want that?" I guarantee you, outside the regular comic fan bubble, most people will be like "wait, there's a Spider-Man that actually kills criminals? And he's a badass at it? I gotta watch that". Now, of course, unlike Spider-Man, Kaine does NOT crack jokes, so that's another thing Sony would have to refrain from doing. You see what they're doing with Kraven? R-rated antihero? Yeah, THAT'S Kaine.
My thing is, how does Sony even have the rights to Knull? 1. He was made very recently, does Sony's deal with Marvel mean they're just constantly getting access to every new Spiderman character? And, further, 2. Knull is only even tangentially a Spiderman character, who's mostly known for fighting the Avengers and stuff
I would assume so. They own the film rights to Spider-man and all related characters. That should include new ones. Same reason they own Miles Morales movie rights.
These deals are likely progressive (if that's the right word.) Remember when Marvel stopped making Fantastic Four comics so Fox wouldn't have anything new for the movies?
@@chadisnotachad that wasn't why they stopped making those comics or xmen. They stopped making them so they'd be less popular in the hopes it would make the movies less popular/profitable.

5:39 They can do Scorpion...if they remembered he exists. He was done dirty in SM2, so if they can give him a chance in the spotlight, I think Peter going against a violent maniac would be really cool.
I think the hesitancy on adapting Scorpion is "Cool costume but, kinda, TERRIBLE origin". Jonah has to be "actually kinda evil" to sell that origin and no one really wants to do that these days. Even a tabloid journalist as a villain? Fine when newspapers were a core part of the American tapestry. Not so much when they're perceived as a millstone by the hyper capitalists, so Jonah kind of tilted toward "misguided in terms of Spider-Man, but essentially noble" in adaptations. And that's mostly fine, EXCEPT for Scorpion's origin.
I mean, do they HAVE to include Jonah in his Origin? I always thought it was a bit strange how he helped fund a military grade exo-suit to hunt down Spider-Man. I know he runs a newspaper, but money can’t be THAT good. We can just say Tombstone/Kingpin funded it and put in a guy they knew, since he’s already established as a criminal. Then it would make much more sense, cuz that sounds like something they’d do.
I want Scorpion, but how they gonna make Michael Mando look good in that big green suit? He's so short, and he's not even irish. The only way I could imagine is if he's like the Ultimate version, where we NEVER see him in the classic suit, he's just some gangster that maybe uses some chain hook as a weapon. That could work, specially if DaredeviI is in the movie, but I'm pretty sure that's not what fans want to see. Doomed if he's accurate, doomed if he's not. Better not do it at all at that point.
@@radrno7They’re actors. He can put on an Irish accent. And he’ll look bigger with the suit on, Hugh Jackman always received complaints for being too tall to be Wolverine.
i think, as good as MCU spider-man has been, one thing he's really been missing is a Scorpion. like, with vulture, he was very understandable and had a genuine point. then, with mysterio, you had him fight someone who had a justified vendetta against someone that this version of peter was mentored by and loved dearly. and then in NWH they had this version of spider-man look into other spider-man's villains and he tried his absolute best to save every single one of them, even if multiple of them were completely and utterly willing to kill him on the spot just because he's another spider-man. but tom's peter... really hasn't had a villain that's just a bloodthirsty lunatic. he hasn't had Scorpion, or Carnage, or anyone like them. i genuinely think they need to make it their priority to give MCU peter a villain that he cannot reach in any capacity, someone that he just has to fight to get him out of his way. i think that would be just positively fantastic to see on-screen.
@@radrno7 That really only applies to Rhino and there's really only three ways you can use him in live-action without him looking like Quantumania MODOK or those edits of Hulk and She-Hulk with a human skintone. Either just make him a completely grey Hulk like with the Kraven movie, a giant mech where his real human face gets covered like with the Hulkbuster or TASM 2 Rhino. If they used his Romita design but that would either have to be in a period piece or have him be dragged from the multiverse, and either way he probably would have to be left out of action scenes or else he would be run into the same problems as those Hulk edits when he's supposed to be human.

I really think it's time they gave us scorpion, they teased him years ago, I would also love Tombstone and you can even have him set up a gang war between himself and Kingpin and whoever else they want
FANS: Please do a street-level Spider-Man movie set in NYC with more developed and plausible characters like Kingpin, Tombstone &/or Black Cat. MARVEL: We like it and have chosen some great classic story ideas to pull from. SONY: We hear you, but how about… GIANT CGI MULTIVERSAL BATTLES WITH EVERY POORLY-DRAWN VILLAIN WE CAN SQUEEZE INTO THE FRAME?!? 🙄😵💫🤦
You can't imagine why people want Black Cat? This is literally the perfect time to introduce her. I imagine Spider-Man 4 could have her as an influence that tempts Peter to abandon his secret identity and become Spider-man full time possibly combined with the black suit. You can frame this narratively like she's his college girlfriend who loves partying but also gets him into doing coke. Except the coke is the symbiote and the party is fucking up rich assholes like tombstone or kingpin.
I'd say Scorpion would be the best option, have it linked to his Home Trilogy/Vulture, adapt the story of Jameson financing the suit to hunt Spider-Man, makes it a personal Spider-Man story.
Scorpion is a C tier villian. His role in the comics is only to get his ass beat by Spider-Man over and over again. To go from major villians to him would be anticlimactic.
@@rumo510 By that logic, whatever villain they go for would be considered anticlimactic. The problem with adapting Spider-Man's rogues gallery is that there are only a few of them that are major players, the big three being Goblin, Doc Ock and Venom (though Venom is arguably more of an antihero/frenemy than a full blown villain). And to be fair, Vulture was also C-list villain and worked out pretty good. Heck, if you look at it in the comics, he's just an old dude with wings, he's like a white, grumpier Falcon.
Sony wants Spider-man in high school, fighting the Sinister Six with Venom. They've been trying to do that since day one! And they will not rest until that happens.
My favourite part of the Holland Spidey films is that sequence of him helping New Yorkers and doing a flip for Zach Cherry, etc. The end of No Way Home seemed explicitly set up to give us a closer-to-the-comics, down on his luck Peter Parker, and it is typical Sony bullheadedness that they'd give that up to make a movie about Knull, a nothing character who has been around for about 18 minutes
Isn’t Knull kinda just the Venom equivalent of the Spider-Totem stuff? Taking the more “grounded” character, and giving them a super mystical backstory.
I'd be game if the next 3 Spider-Man were a general saga about the black suit, eventually meeting Venom in probably the 2nd movie, and MAYBE a Knull event for 3 but putting all of that in one movie would be terrible. Honestly, the whole Knull saga is so cool that it would be a shame if it only affected one movie. It would be interesting if it started to leak out into the other Marvel properties, get our Knullified Falcon or Doctor Strange or what have you.
Give me the last Spider-verse film and then I'm done with the Multiverse. The quickest way to get me to mentally check out of a new movie is to say "multiverse"
funny how many people are like "eww no multiverse" but marvel has done like just 3 of them, no way home, multiverse of madness and the marvels, yet people act like if it's the end of the world
@artist0154 Deadpool made fun of the multiverse but it was still multiverse, and one of the big things about the new F.F is they're from another universe that's probably gonna fold into the main one after the next two (also multiverse) Avengers movies. Seven total MCU Multiverse movies by Secret Wars, DC's flop multiverse Flash movie, and the Spider-Verse trilogy at Sony. People are understandably bored now.
@@demonteprice5870 but just because everyone failed at their multiverse doesnt mean that marvel is doing it wrong, it hasnt even started, same with their shared universe, WB, Godzilla, Universal monsters, Sony's spiderman, DCEU, etc... everyone failed (not godzilla tho) but is not marvels fault So saying that multiverse bad because everone bad is not fair Marvel did No way home, Multiverse of madness, The marvels and Deapool 3 and guess what? Three of them reached more than 900 million dollars in box office, yes, the marvels flop but again, just because everyone feels bad about the multiverse has nothing to do with the MCU, otherwise these movies wouldnt have made that much money, same with Xmen 97 and the Spiderverse movies
@@artist0154 making the money back means absolutely nothing and you know it. It's not just about how well Marvel can do the multiverse concept (and frankly, they haven't handled it all that well so far in those three movies), people are just uninterested by the premise now due to saturation. it's simply not interesting right now
I do believe you can somehow fit all those characters together and still make a coherent and fluid movie, without it being a convoluted or confusing mess. Sure, it's difficult, but definitely doable. ... I simply don't believe Sony cared about doing it.
I hate so much that all these great concepts and characters are being wasted in the Sonyverse when they could be explored properly in the MCU. Such missed potential….
I've been saying this for years, but I think it would be cool for them to do a live-action version of Spider-man and his Amazing Friends as a way to have a college-age Peter fight alongside heroes that are the same age as him and to intricate x-men/mutant characters into the MCU
I'm somewhere in the middle with all of this debate about what Tom Holland's Spiderman 4 should be, so my stand is the next: Go ahead and make a multiverse shinanagans with Venom and other Spidermen, BUT the next movie after Secret Wars, once the entire multiverse stuff is done, should be a street level movie.
Knull is a more interesting endgame for the Sony universe than the sinister six movie because the S6 should be saved for the MCU sixth film rather than wasted in Sony. I’m fine with multiverse Sony stuff as long as it’s not at detriment to Tom Holland’s solo Spidey films, it should be an addition not a subtraction

Oh Venom was financially successful but it's like saying Michael Bay Transformers were good because it made billions. So you might have a different opinion but most critics/fans only considers Spider Man/Spider Verse movies good (I did not like No Way Home but opinions, assholes and all that jazz). My pitch for spider man 4 would be Tombstone and Hammerhead in a gang war with Kingpin orchestrating both sides. With a Daredevil team up and Spider-Man possibly needing the symbiote due to overwhelming odds would go hard story would end with Peter using the black suit going into spider man 5. But that’s just my two cents
Sony is gonna dry up any potential for a good story because they don't want to share. We could have had a new trilogy of Spider-Man going against Kraven, Rhino, and Venom. We could have introduced or trickled in Eddie Brock in the MCU. We could have done so much more that now, fans are upset because Sony is so greedy that we almost have to rely on multiverse stories to tell the Spider-Man stories we wish we could tell. It's such a shame. And even when we DO have the pieces like Daredevil or Kingpin, it's so bogged down by this inflation (like, Daredevil needing, what, 18 episodes?) that I don't think people can be impressed as much.
If Sony is this invested in being a money sink like this anyway, I think they should just embrace all their failures and do their Sinister Six movie after all. Get Michael Keaton, Michael Mando, Jared Leto, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Rhys Ifans if you want him to have his multiverse moment thing, And you get a free card to cast a sixth brand new one on that movie. Maybe you call everyone that played a villain in Garfield's movies back or something instead of some of the others I mentioned. Have it be a challenge so challenging that Peter needs to call in all the Spider-Women to help. If you're going to keep throwing money away at least see your stupid plan through.
I saw the trailer with some friends and they loved it(they are not comic readers like I). So maybe Sony got what they wanted with that being casual viewers interested. But as someone who read those comics, the idea of Eddie Brock's most developed version and a 'every hero needed'-level threat being portrayed by an Eddie Brock that hasn't developed as a character over 2 films is the most concerning decision I've seen in a bit.
I really really want Sony to just make Amazing Spider-Man 3 and throw Venom in and then can do all the weird Sinister Six stuff and it stays it's OWN CONTINUITY and they just let Marvel do whatever they want with Tom Holland while collecting a check. Just give everyone room to be weird and creative over at Sony and let MARVEL have a grounded version of Spider-Man that can be in all the future Avengers movies. I don't think this is too much to ask.
The next Spider-Man should be more grounded with a close-to-home villain. It would be terrible to smash Peter meeting the symbiote for the first time into a movie with Knull. I saw a good review of the Spider-Man 2 game and they made a good point that they always try to cram the symbiote and Venom into one story when it shouldn't be that way.
They’re pulling a Spider-Man 3 and worse, TASM 2 again. Trying to do too much too soon and all in one movie. Sony, aside from the animation studio, doesn’t know wtf they’re doing. They’ve had 3 good movies in the last like 10 Spidey related movies, not counting the MCU ones and animation. 1, 2, and TASM 1 was fairly good. MAYBE Venom, for some people. But nobody wanted that because it’s weird having him unconnected to Spidey.
Nando idk if you remember, but i was listening to The Marvels episode of Mostly Nitpicking at work and you actually predicted the gambling bit in the new Venom (even if unintentionally) y’all were talking bout how it was called The Last Dance and comparing it to the Michael Jordan documentary. you brought up how funny it’d be if they gave him Jordan’s gambling problem and i almost gasped lol. buddy has Sony CBM foresight 😳
Glad I’m not alone in the Knull worry. My very first thought when I saw the Last Dance trailer was “god, I hope they’re not trying to do Knull here.” Didn’t we learn with Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix that these kind of huge “endgame” level villains just shouldn’t be rushed like this.
Thank you, Nando! You've made the general points I have about Spidey 4 - make him street level, do not multiverse or world-ending or anything. Especially keep Peter away from the SPUMC, which I've disliked in pretty much every case (I kinda liked Venom 1, but have soured on it since, especially after 2, which I really disliked). I also dislike Knull and most of the Klyntaar stuff, so I'm pretty sure I won't like Venom 3, but I could be wrong.

He cant appear in the young avengers either. He cant be in fantastic four, or xmen. He doesnt have a place to fit in that universe at the moment because everything in the mcu is in shambles. And he doesnt have a place to stay at his other parents house because they keep morbing all over and killing mothers in the amazon or rebooting venom again. Poor kid.

I feel like Black Cat should be an absolute must for Spider-Man 4, something new none of the other movies did. And MJ should be out of the picture now. (Though they do want to her back somehow.) Don’t know how well Venom 3 will do at the box office. Yeah it made lots of money at the box office but the first venom movie wasn’t receive well. And Venom 2 made less money at the box office. Since a lot of people didn’t like the first movie it seems they didn’t bother to see Venom 2 in theaters. If it weren’t for china the Venom movies would have made less money at the box office. And thanks to Sony terrible marvel movies they have made things worse for Venom 3 and Kraven. Because of those movies people will hesitate to see venom 3 and Kraven because of those movies. Sony is definitely counting on china for the box office.
I liked it when Spider-Man teamed up with Iron Man and Doctor Strange and Venom to stop Mordu and Carnage from summoning Dormamu. Also Madame Web was there.

I know the joke is that people only want Black Cat because they’re horny but I think there is an actual argument that she can serve a purpose in Spider-Man’s story. Firstly, she can be a character Peter could interact with as Peter and not Spider-Man giving stuff to do outside of being a hero and talking to MJ at that coffee shop. Secondly, if you give her powers you can kinda work around the fact that Peter shouldn’t be allowing himself to have friends because obviously being friends with other people with superpowers wasn’t the problem in No Way Home. Thirdly, I simply don’t want MJ and Ned to just become friends with Peter again because I want the consequences of No Way Home to last at least for like a couple movies.
If they do knull, I'm hoping for a flashback when Venom was explaining to Eddie about knull and knull cuts that one Celetial's head off, and they have to give knull wings like the ones Venom had in spiderman 2.
TLDR: He's a god of darkness who wants to wipe out the universe. He created the Symbiotes out of pure darkness to serve as his minions but eventually the Symbiotes developed consciousness and free will (traits that they absorbed from the hosts they bonded to) and chose to rebel against Knull, sealing him away.
Spider-Man 4 should be more street level with local but serious consequences. And the side plot should be that MJ and Ned being really smart people work out that there is a missing person in their lives. So while Peter is trying to put his life together without them and trying to save people in New York from a villain who is hurting the down troden, they are slowly working out that they know Spider-Man. Building up to some moment when Peter is really down and out they work it out, break the spell over themselves and save him.
despite me wishing spidey 4 was a street level movie, ion think a spidey and venom movie sounds bad. i feel like they could do a grounded story similar to how the symbiotes were in spider man 2. this means we could also see the black suit in this movie.

@laverdadescatolica5 what?
Done.

If they got to show Ezekiel using his spider powers so prominently AND with a full on costume (that wasn't even necessary to begin with), they absolutely could use Kaine.
We don't know all the details of the new marvel deal. Could have been part of the exchange of letting marvel borrow spiderman.
I would assume so. They own the film rights to Spider-man and all related characters. That should include new ones. Same reason they own Miles Morales movie rights.
Very simple answer. One word: VENOM.
You're welcome.
These deals are likely progressive (if that's the right word.)

They can do Scorpion...if they remembered he exists.
And he’ll look bigger with the suit on, Hugh Jackman always received complaints for being too tall to be Wolverine.
i think, as good as MCU spider-man has been, one thing he's really been missing is a Scorpion. like, with vulture, he was very understandable and had a genuine point. then, with mysterio, you had him fight someone who had a justified vendetta against someone that this version of peter was mentored by and loved dearly. and then in NWH they had this version of spider-man look into other spider-man's villains and he tried his absolute best to save every single one of them, even if multiple of them were completely and utterly willing to kill him on the spot just because he's another spider-man.
but tom's peter... really hasn't had a villain that's just a bloodthirsty lunatic. he hasn't had Scorpion, or Carnage, or anyone like them. i genuinely think they need to make it their priority to give MCU peter a villain that he cannot reach in any capacity, someone that he just has to fight to get him out of his way. i think that would be just positively fantastic to see on-screen.
for Spider-Man 4 I want: Scorpion, Black Cat. Maybe Kingpin and Daredevil + the return of Vulture and Mysterio in some capacity.
not going to happen

If they used his Romita design but that would either have to be in a period piece or have him be dragged from the multiverse, and either way he probably would have to be left out of action scenes or else he would be run into the same problems as those Hulk edits when he's supposed to be human.

I mean, after "multiverse movie so good it won Best Picture", the concept can only go downhill.
funny how many people are like "eww no multiverse" but marvel has done like just 3 of them, no way home, multiverse of madness and the marvels, yet people act like if it's the end of the world
@artist0154 Deadpool made fun of the multiverse but it was still multiverse, and one of the big things about the new F.F is they're from another universe that's probably gonna fold into the main one after the next two (also multiverse) Avengers movies. Seven total MCU Multiverse movies by Secret Wars, DC's flop multiverse Flash movie, and the Spider-Verse trilogy at Sony. People are understandably bored now.
@@demonteprice5870 but just because everyone failed at their multiverse doesnt mean that marvel is doing it wrong, it hasnt even started, same with their shared universe, WB, Godzilla, Universal monsters, Sony's spiderman, DCEU, etc... everyone failed (not godzilla tho) but is not marvels fault
So saying that multiverse bad because everone bad is not fair
Marvel did No way home, Multiverse of madness, The marvels and Deapool 3 and guess what? Three of them reached more than 900 million dollars in box office, yes, the marvels flop but again, just because everyone feels bad about the multiverse has nothing to do with the MCU, otherwise these movies wouldnt have made that much money, same with Xmen 97 and the Spiderverse movies
@@artist0154 making the money back means absolutely nothing and you know it. I do believe you can somehow fit all those characters together and still make a coherent and fluid movie, without it being a convoluted or confusing mess.
Sure, it's difficult, but definitely doable.

I simply don't believe Sony cared about doing it.
I hate so much that all these great concepts and characters are being wasted in the Sonyverse when they could be explored properly in the MCU. Such missed potential….
"Sony can you make 2 good movies please" lol love this
I've been saying this for years, but I think it would be cool for them to do a live-action version of Spider-man and his Amazing Friends as a way to have a college-age Peter fight alongside heroes that are the same age as him and to intricate x-men/mutant characters into the MCU
The solution is to make venom 3 flop. No one go see this movie. Withhold your dollars, it's the only thing movie studios understand.
I’m excited for knull! I can’t wait for the movie and to see a series of movies with knull in it!
I'm somewhere in the middle with all of this debate about what Tom Holland's Spiderman 4 should be, so my stand is the next:
Go ahead and make a multiverse shinanagans with Venom and other Spidermen, BUT the next movie after Secret Wars, once the entire multiverse stuff is done, should be a street level movie.
Its truly a case of study of how with a character like venom sony manages to make each movie less and less interesting
The only interesting endgame for SPUM is handover into Disney's hands. Other than Spiderverse nothing that Sony did with Spiderman has any merit.

With a Daredevil team up and Spider-Man possibly needing the symbiote due to overwhelming odds would go hard story would end with Peter using the black suit going into spider man 5.
This guy has the right idea. Let's get crazy-go-nuts
The only way to influence Sony’s decisions going forward is with an organized boycott.
Nando idk if you remember, but i was listening to The Marvels episode of Mostly Nitpicking at work and you actually predicted the gambling bit in the new Venom (even if unintentionally)
y’all were talking bout how it was called The Last Dance and comparing it to the Michael Jordan documentary. you brought up how funny it’d be if they gave him Jordan’s gambling problem and i almost gasped lol. buddy has Sony CBM foresight 😳
Why does anyone even pay attention to what Sony does anymore
It's the multiverse saga, it makes sense, let's just hope this is set up and not the last we will see of null, that goes for Spider-Man 4 as well.
Brah imagine SM4 with Mr Negative and depressed Peter. Who will cheer him up and inspire him to keep moving? MILES
Glad I’m not alone in the Knull worry. My very first thought when I saw the Last Dance trailer was “god, I hope they’re not trying to do Knull here.”
Didn’t we learn with Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix that these kind of huge “endgame” level villains just shouldn’t be rushed like this.
If Knull is the main villain of this movie, he shouldn’t be fucking gambling, or dancing. He should be preparing to fight or die

Sad to see how many people are eating up this idea of smashing the Sony verse with Tom Holland spider-man 4
Where the fuck have all you guys been? Sony verse is not worth crossing over
Daredevil verse crossing over with spider-man is MUCH MORE WORTH
They will cast someone truly strange for Black Cat. Like imagine if it’s Kirsten Dunst
Today it occurred to me exactly how VENOM: the last dance will end. They’ll steal the climax of absolute carnage but replace Dylan with the VENOM symbiote. Chiwetel eljiofer will say “either I kill your symbiote, or you kill the world” Eddie will choose to save VENOM and damn the world to knull ending the film. After the credits text will appear saying: VENOM will return in: THE KING IN BLACK
Maybe they start with Null sicking the xenophage on venom?
Who wants to wager that Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman were paid even less for the use of Knull in Venom 3 than they were when Spider-Man 2 on PS5 had both Venom in his King in Black design and the colored symbiote people from the Cates run
So they’re gonna charge them money??
Apparently Donny Cates got paid because he praised the script. 😂😂
Marvel is notorious for hardly paying comic creators for their contributions to their films
Were they paid AT ALL for their contributions to Spider Man 2 on PS5?
@@cartoonishidealism582Probably not cause when make stuff for marvel, whatever you made doesn't belong to you. And these creators know that. I think it would be nice to put their names in the opening and ending credits
Knull would probably be better as a multiversal threat after Venom said their hive communicates across multiverses.
If Secret Wars were to get a “Villains Assemble” scene on battleworld to outdo the Avengers Assemble scene from Endgame, Knull could be brought into that whole situation along with a bunch of other villains from other movies. You know people would absolutely freak out to see their favorite villains bonded with symbiotes halfway through the fight.
It’s crazy how people wanted spider and venom or spider to get the black suit. But now that we might be getting that people don’t want it anymore😭
Because it’s Sony doing it, that’s where the problem lies. They’re not interested in telling a good story, they just want to keep Spider-Man’s rights and squeeze any amount of money from them
@@gavo7911you say as if Sony hasn’t made great and the best spidey films without the help of marvel Disney. Sony made 2 💩 movies with morbius and Madame web which were most likely made for rights reasons.
@gavo7911 "DO A FLIP SPIDERMAN....YEEEEEAH" thats the spiderman you're defending.....Ironman jr?
@@Tevron_ I’m not defending Toms Spider-Man at all. I actually didn’t like him as spidey till NWH. Not sure you actually read my comment. I’m defending Sony saying they have made the best Spider-Man movies.
@@NP31330 Apologies. Replied to the wrong comment
Give us Scorpion please. Please feige. He has nothing. He needs this.
I really really wanna see swarm, I think he could be a cool new villain, maybe they could even do what ultimate Spider-Man did and make it where it's a mans consciousness who takes control of all of spider mans spierbots
All I want is a damn Hob goblin spider man 4 movie , it’s already set up the fans will love hob goblin
Since we're pilling up a buncha stuff into this movie, gimme Joe Mangianello as Flash Thompson and tease Agent Venom.
To me… if Sleeper’s in it, it’s a 10/10. That’s how low the bar is for me. I just want to see my boy!!
If they do knull, I'm hoping for a flashback when Venom was explaining to Eddie about knull and knull cuts that one Celetial's head off, and they have to give knull wings like the ones Venom had in spiderman 2.
I don’t know much about Knull, but he reminds me of the elf prince villain from Hellboy II: The Golden Army lol
I always describe Klyntar as a gooey Cybertron
Had Raimi SM3 not been so bloated and poorly received, I could envision a movie featuring Spidey and Venom working together. That time, of course, is not now, and they should not even think about it.
@@RickReasonnz they rly should save knull as the villain of spider man 6 i think. i’d rather see a villian like kingpin, scorpion, mr negative, black cat, tombstone, or the prowler for spider man 4. either way i’m still looking forward to this movie.
@@tyson6785 Knull is an Avengers level threat. Spider-man has little to do with him else for the relationship of Venom.
@laverdadescatolica5 I'm of the opinion is should have been about The Lizard with Green Goblin Harry, if that's what Osbourn was meant to be. They teased and teased Conners in the previous film, felt so wasted he was dropped. Venom should have been a lone villain in another movie.
The Xenophage won’t take up any oxygen, other villains will still get their development for what it’s worth. I’m betting Knull is the “final” boss with Orwell being “lowest” and then Toxin and the life foundation symbiote being the next rung up.
Sony and their creators are clueless. 1st venom trash because not being bold enough and pg13, 2nd venom trash same reasons, 3rd venom....
If the movie is set between doomsday and secret wars it would make sense that it’s not street level and It would be great to have Tom Holland with the back suit in Secret wars ! Idk I can see it work if marvel take care of it like they did with the previous spidey films
No one can't stop Sony from doing untold things with SPUM 😂
I had a feeling that with how much your not a fan of the Symbiote lore in Spiderman/Marvel mythos this news about Sony wanting to do another multiverse story fpr Spiderman 4 and potentially have Knull as the new big bad, which yeah I personally dont love that direction for Tom's Spider-Man since No Wya Home was perfect palette cleanser for Spiderman in the McU to go back to basics nad flesh out Tom's Spiderman as a street level superhero trying to struggle with his own depression and building new friendships and relationships. Whats even more disappointing is that apparently Spiderman 4 was meant to be a street level story with Spiderman teaming up Daredevil to fight Kingpin and orher villains like Scorpion or Mr Negative and feature Black Cat which sounds exactly like the movie fans have wanted to see.
Im interested to see Knull in live action font get me wrong but I doubt he'll be used to his full potential.
I do love that Deston Daniel Cretton is directing Spiderman 4 so you know rhat the action scenes are going to be great
“seems like Venom 3 could be a fun movie” when will you learn Nando
Hey man, that restaurant scene is fkin great
"Your actions have consequences!"
"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?"
