Pre ordering a game before seeing gameplay is crazy to me. I could see if you're a UA-cam Creator. That makes a lil more sense. This is why Ubisoft charges these ridiculous prices for the "ultimate edition" if people keep buying them. Then Ubisoft will keep charging high prices. $130 is crazy. This is gone passed Ridiculous.
Pre-ordering is cheaper. They've set up a special -$10 coupon that applies for 1 week. So, the normal edition costs $59, but the downside is that you can't cancel the pre-order because of the coupon. So, for those who are fans of the game, this is a good deal.

Another nugget: There is a brotherhood active and the master is shao jun's apprentice, named "Kotetsu" or "Xiao Hu".
She was the protagonist from chronicles china AND was also part of embers.

Im hoping they have the AI life systems they had in Origins - It was actually more complex than in Odyssey or Valhalla - It was a proper simulation for all the npc characters and animals and it was pretty impressive - Im hoping also this is the case as the map size being similar...
The AI in origins is amazing, AI have daily schedules and all go to sleep at the end of the day, they have roles and jobs, and such beautiful vignettes of life. The animals attack eachother and act like real animals it’s awesome. Glad someone else noticed it.
I played AC Mirage with the possibility to see enemies through walls disabled. Honestly, it improved my gameplay experience so much. I have noticed I was paying much more attention to the sounds and the visuals in general. I really hope that HUD customisation is returning with this new installment in the serie.
It's always been there except Origins for some reasons, and even then, the had HUD presets for minimal or no HUD.

At 3:43 he mentioned that the enemy would stay closer to fires in the winter forcing the player to find a colder path. this sounds like the Survival from The Division getting a bit more use in an AC game now.

Still am a bit skeptical because of RPG setting in Japan, but let's hope it turns out well. Especially gameplay and story, it is proved time and again that graphics does not matter until the gameplay and story is good.

I've been waiting for an assassins creed game for a millennia. They better not fuck it up which I guarantee you right now they will in one way or another. Don't forget it's 2024 and all they do today is fuck everything up.
But I hope that there are skill trees like in Odyssey and Origins. I personally didn't like the thing with Valhalla, just like the gameplay
Each character will have their own individual skill tree and each weapon in the game also has their own skill tree as well. With the weapons it's a proficiency system. The more you use a particular weapon, you better you become with that weapon. You can craft and personalise your own Kitana. And active combat skills with the L1/R1 buttons are making a return as well. In valhalla you had to find books of knowledge. In shadows, you have to find ninja scrolls
I think it will because in the ultimate edition, it comes with 5 skill points, so i think there going back to the skill tree
One feature that I loved from the open world AC games was the Mercenaries system from Odyssey. I would love if they could bring that back somehow.
I hope we can get a hood for Yasuke. We get to play as a shinobi assassin, which will be awesome, so I hope we can also enjoy the fantasy of playing as a samurai assassin with hood and katana 🙌🏼🙌🏼

@@lonelywolf9717 man i dont want to crush your dreams but what we know so far says we only get the shinobi agility Experience with the girl. I want to play as yasuke and have the shinobi experience its so terrible that you cannot choose for yourself. We have seen almost nothing in the trailer when it comes to yasuke, only 2 weaponstyles, no tools no parkpur :(
Fingers crossed hoping we get , The Hidden One’s attire. Seeing the first iteration of the Assassins Outfit in Origins’ DLC on Bayek was beautiful. Man I hope, Yasuke at least gets that.

If you get a chance to ask the devs more questions, please ask if the Brotherhood will be a part of the story! I'm super hopeful that Naoe will be an actual Assassin and not just an "assassin flavored" character by virtue of being a shinobi.

@@zhilaliljinan8792 I’m sure she got it from an Assassin but so did Eivor and she was never part of the Brotherhood. Edward Kenway also had one and didn’t really mess with the Brotherhood.
I wonder if it’s the full story from the perspective of each character, or if it forces you to switch characters through the story, like Spider-Man 2 does
Believe the IGN article said that there’s some story quests that are unique to each character, but you can choose them for a lot of quests. Sounded pretty cool!
reviewer said that each character will have different quests since they will have their own story to tell, but also gonna have quests that can be done by either of them

I honestly hope there are legendary animals and even mythical creatures to discover. Some don’t like that but I thought it was a great touch in odyssey and Valhalla
I hope the combat has impact AC combat always seem floaty to me i think the combat is the most important they usually get everything else right.
I am so glad they are taking away the icons being revealed from the viewpoints. I always found myself skipping areas because I knew I was only going to get some crap ore from it. Keeping it a mystery encourages exploration and makes it more rewarding.
I remember when I first found your channel when Valhalla was announced and I watch every video about it and now it’s happening again with ac shadow 😂
I feel like when shadows comes out it will be like a mix between Odyssey and Valhalla also mixed in with Mirage and I totally understand why they won’t be in no bird helping us in this one because I too myself rarely use the eagle or Raven but they could’ve at least make it like the old assassin‘s Creed there is a bird, but we can use it and probably make it into an upgrade where it Scouts for you that way you don’t have to switch to Eagle mode just to spun your enemies but looks like it’s not gonna be in this one
Aside from the grapple hook is there any new parkour animations then the same one from the last 4 games with diffrent speed

If having weapons means collecting only one of each kind and then being able to customize and upgrade it, well I'm all for that mechanic. If you could also change perks on these weapons like let's say health on enemy kill it would be excellent. I'd rather have that than collect million other weapons that I would realistically never use.

If the story ends in winter like in GoT, will you be stuck in winter for the rest of your playthrough or will the seasons keep rotating even after you finish the story? In GoT, the seasons were based on location, with the three regions of Tsushima having different seasons
there are like 9 regions in japan maybe the dlc expansions will use other regions like tohoku or kyushu
I just find it so historically weird that they decided on their final decision to make the protagonist an African Samurai…

I hope they focused a lot more on parkour and assassination animations for the ninja character. Even with the sped up animations, Mirage still felt very clunky in the end, but if a ninja manages to be a slow climber and her assassinations remain as slow as eivors, it would be very disappointing….

Sounds all interessting! But my only concern is, is the Assassin Brotherhood in the game? I know the iconic quote is in the trailer. But not much of the brotherhood or that you are part of it. Hope in the coming days they will answer it
They should be but they haven’t 100% confirmed. The Japanese Brotherhood has been active for 30 years at this point, and Naoe’s hidden blade has the Assassin symbol on it.

I wish this game would be coop, I feel like having two characters u can play as would make this game perfect for coop gameplay. Haven’t had that since unity and even that wasn’t actually coop, couldn’t play the story with people
Arima and Shinano as provinces? where does it say that? Shinano province is quite far to the north but I guess if they involve Uesugi Kenshin and Takeda Shingen then it makes sense although seems weird to add it as the only northern province. Arima province on the other hand i cant even seem to find a historical reference to such a province. The 9 provinces are more likely Settsu (with the smaller Izumi and Kawachi provinces merged into Settsu), Yamato , Kii, Omi, Harima, Iga, Tajima and Yamashiro are all but shown in the footage but the 9th province is unknown although from the map showing off Omi province, we can see an "a" on the far left so the final province is either Tanba or Wakasa in my opinion. Tanba would be my guess but if its this mythical Arima province that I have never heard of then that would be odd. I also like the idea of seeing Shinano province, being that the famous battle of Kawanakajima was fought between Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin in Shinano, as well as the majority of their wars being over control of Shinano, but I see that being more of a DLC thing.

All there was in feudal japan was central japan any thing below Shimazu was still owned by the Ryukyuan, and any thing north of Nanbu was the Ainu Territory Hokkaido wouldn’t join til 1869 and idk about southern japan as there is so many different islands big and small
Is the loot system like odyssey or Valhalla? I hated Valhallas loot system lt was a grind to get a specific gear set, I hope it’s like odyssey or mirage.
also hated that you couldn't sell or break weapons and armor you don't need. my inventory got so cluttered in Valhalla.
also hope the transmog is like Rise of Ronin or Odyssey. I hated Valhallas system limited to the blacksmith at the settlement and costed ingame currency.
I am much more for Odysseys loot than Mirages. I love finding new gear that has the same look with different perks.

Not to mention the streamers who say that the game is not realistic because Naoe is a woman and women are not biologically capable of fighting against male samurai.
Cmon most of the complains comes from people who politicize everything and shout at forced diversity in anything that is something a bit different from normal.

Atleast the map will be manageable, oddessy was too big and vahalla main map is big as well. I hope red map is like origin.

I’m very excited for this one. Everything seems right so far. It seems like they have really learned their lessons. I’m just glad they finally are doing duel protagonists correctly. I don’t have to worry about Alexios or Male Eivor stans in this one.

I’m excited for this game but I do think we need to adjust our expectations a little bit. Don get me wrong I’m hoping the game goes great but I don’t think some features will make a bigger difference like we hope.

From the looks of it, playing the woman will be more like mirage and oldschool AC, whereas with the samurai it will be more like Valhalla, Odyssey and origins.
