Rachel, I so LOVE that Lenci Doll, which to me looks like she could also be a Flamingo Doll with her flower in her hair, large hoop earrings, curls on the side of her face, and her hair in a bun:)!!! And the Lenci Doll is so stunningly beautiful:)!!! I so LOVE the Lenci Doll's gorgeous face:) Whoever made the Lenci Doll was really very talented:)!!! And I so LOVE the work that Linda does with repairs:)!! I so LOVE how she glued in the Jumeau's beautiful eyes and I also liked the way she repaired the Leather Doll's the holes with Kid's leather gloves:)!! And the Valentines Day Grace Boxes that Stan was putting together are really amazing:)!! And it is awesome that Linda's Mom Levon is still going strong at 103 years old:)!! My Boyfriend's Late Grandma Vera lived to be 101 years old and she loved to collect singing Teddy Bears:)!!! Thank you so much for sharing Linda's and Stan's talents and that stunning Lenci Doll:)!!!

As always, I love the doll shop videos. By the way I well remember that nasty tape of which Linda was speaking. That stuff felt like your skin was coming right off!
I love to see the restoration process and the worn out, given new life. Also happy to learn the techniques of fine tuned skills! Have a wonderful evening!!

Love the hospital reference! I am learning so much. Every time I watch your "how too" videos I'm just tickled. Having collected for 45 years I'm happy to know that some of my repairs were done with great thought and care.

I love watching these educational videos, because of you and 1 other channel I have been able to rescue very damaged dolls. My latest one is a very large S&H girl, she stands at about 70cm or so, whose head was smashed and she was missing 3 fingers on her very damaged body that had been repaired multiple times over the decades. She, and a smaller girl, were dug out of a bin filled with dirt from a shed clean up. I have repaired, cleaned and sewn clothes for the smaller girl, she's about 40cm, and now I'm sculpting the missing part of the larger girls head, with milliput and have done the fingers. I don't have the original eyes, but I do have fixed glass eyes that I'll use. I'm on a disability pension so can't afford to buy good condition, but that's ok. I did Art and am able to do restoration work. Again thankyou for sharing you love and knowledge. Hugs Liana from Australia 😊 xx

Wow, Liana! It's truly inspiring to hear about your doll rescues, especially given the challenges you've described. Your dedication to bringing life back to those treasures is admirable. The fact that you can utilize your art skills for restoration is fantastic. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for being a part of our community and sharing your journey. Hugs right back to you from across the ocean! 😊💕

I had a beautiful doll like the one in the BROOKS box at the beginnng of this video. Although mine had acloth or kid body? The back of the head said 1910 Germany and something else, can't remember..Oh, she had beautiful brown eye I swear she could see me...and little sweet teeth in her perfect mouth no hair tho, I didn't care, I loved her...
seeing your doll, brought a tear to my eye. This doll looked so much like the one I had, unfortunately my dolls head got broken, so far beyond repair. I kept her wrapped up in knitted blanket at the top of my locked closet, where the children couldn't reach her. My hubby came home from bowling with his new ball, wanting to keep the huge ball some where out of the kids reach, he thought the locked closet would be a good place...he put dropped the ball right on top of my dolls head...Crushed her. Oh I cried, he felt so bad... that's about 30 years ago now. I still miss and think about her. Miss Renee.
Love your videos...I collect Barbie and Fashion Dolls now.
Racheal your such a friendly and pretty gal. Congrats on your baby girl.
Nice to see these dolls being loved, nice job Linda.

dampen the plaster with water before applying water base glue. this keeps the plaster from sucking out the water from the glue and weakening the hold.
