I believe the Kandahar Dex entry that turned into “I became a bad boy” was the one about a boy turning into Kadabra. That Dex entry has confounded fans for the longest time. When I heard that a lot of those early Dex entries were shortened versions of the Japanese ones because of the early game’s limits (Japanese kana can say the same thing in much fewer characters than the English alphabet can so the full things in English didn’t fit) and that the Japanese version says it’s a quote from an in-universe book and that it’s a reference to The Metamorphosis and the same first sentence from that book (I’ve read it but long enough ago I never registered it was the same sentence) it suddenly made sooooo much more sense!

My best guess about the Shuckle Pokédex entry at 10:39 is that the original entry said something about giving Shuckle a berry and it being turned into berry juice. But that’s just a guess
Also, Kadabra’s Pokédex entry says a kid transformed into one so that might explain the question about it as well

Well not sure about it being a mistranslation. What I do know is that most pokedex entries say it is an indicator of its health, but pokemon Y confirms that if the flame goes out, Charmander dies
