Omega Zero GZDoom mod: Version 1 (Now Version 2) release

- Version 2 is finally here! I couldn't have done this without Jarewill's help from the ZDoom forums, major shout outs to him! Here is what is new with Version 2:
The Dark Cyber Elf powerup (replaces the Berserk pack) now gives players the ability to perform the special EX-Skill, Renbu. It is the 7-hit Z-Saber combo. You fully charge up the Powered up Z-Saber. When you release the charge button, you quickly dash forward and stab in front of you. If you successfully hit your target, you perform a powerful 7-hit combo.
Players can now taunt (V is the default key). You say Omega Zero's famous line "WARE WA MESHIA NARI! HAHAHAHA!" It comes complete with an animation.
The Charged up Z-Saber blast also spawns debris that can damage enemies.
I also made some additional changes to the mod. The Z-Saber strength has been readjusted (both regular and powered up). I also gave Omega Zero a new death sound. It's Zero's death sound from Mega Man X4. That is temporary until I can find some more suitable sounds from Mega Man Zero 3 and 4. Make sure to redownload this mod to experience the new changes.
The changes are somewhat minimal. I readjusted the Powered Up Z-Saber and Z-Buster. The Powered Up Z-Saber's midcharge attack is the close range Z-Saber blast and the powered up Z-Buster's fullcharge attack now makes a new sound. That's about it.

....And yes, I am slowly, slowly working on reworking this into a proper Mega Man Zero 3 gameplay mod. I'm going to try adding in the Recoil Rod and Shield Boomerang. Not sure about stuff like other Cyber-Elves, although I guess something that gradually heals you or gives you super speed or high-jump abilities would obviously make sense. We'll see once I get to that point.
The music featured is CannonBall from Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero Mythos. The featured maps are as followed:
MAP32 from Doom 2, MAP01 from No Rest for the Living, MAP04(?) from No Rest for the Living, Hanging Gardens from Skillsaw, MAP09 from No Rest for the Living, MAP25 and MAP30 from Eviternity, and E1M8, E2M8 and E3M8 from Ultimate Doom. - Ігри
the fact that someone made this in 2020 is wierd, but it also warms my heart because there is still some megaman zero/ZX fans out there

@@Sungura_Kaiser They were made at the same time, X was made based on Megaman and Zero was based on Protoman(Light and Wily were just using Megaman and Protoman as references to create X and Zero)

Well this... To be honest, I feel like the Megaman X, Zero, and ZX fandom has a whole lot in the way of momentum in fan content (the latter two in particular, X-specific projects are doing pretty well), but this actually looks, in terms of gameplay, pretty dang polished. It looks pretty fun to use. I do kinda wish there were some more moves, though.
In particular the ground-slam moves would spice things up, but I also want to see his aerial moveset done if possible. I don't know HOW possible it is to do, as I don't have any Doom modding experience, but I've seen some crazy shtick.
Either way, though, this is pretty well done!
I'm looking forward to the next update

i already tried it, and i really likes this mod, and its also work very well on hexen and heretic (wich i like most on those two and completed the game with this mod)

That was a best great mod and I'll give it just a 9/10. I have sum suggestions if you're interested and have some spare time for future updates.
- Make him hold the Super shotgun secretly (with a small spawn rate)
- When Nazis died, there's a chance for an MP40 to drop.
- Shield Boomerang and Z-Knuckle must be added
- The Buster Pistol's aim is too much on the left though
- Advance taunts would be nice (just like Brutal Doom)
- Some player sprites would be nice in case I want to play it with chasecam on/third person view.
the Z-Buster angle is weird. It's bent inwards.
What an excellent mod,And also I never knew someone still makes mod for doom in 2020.
I feel like the z-saber should have done a lot more damage, basically hitting like a lightsaber should.
It looks good so far. I'm a bit confused why his arms are armored like in MMX instead of the MMZ style, but maybe that's what you were going for since he's the original Zero. I'd also like to see the Buster Shot held at a less awkward angle. I'm not sure if there are many good references, but I always thought it looked a little like a P90. Maybe redraw one of those as the Buster Shot? I dunno. Keep up the good work!
