My system is little busier. I have a switcher which I use 4 of the 5 loops on it. Each loop has 20 pedals that are wired up as a separate pedal board. Each one has a compressor going into several dirt pedals which are in the loop of a smart gate followed by modulation pedals on two of the loops but all have their own delay and reverb. One loop is basically my clean low gain OD. A second is for medium gain Crunch OD. A third is for for high gain and straight up Metal and heavy Fuzz. The fourth is for misc ...the Reverb and delay on it are both high end with ambience type sounds, I have a synth on it. I also cherry pick a few dirt pedals of different types that are special for parts of different tunes. My tunes are all original so this way I can for example go from verse to chorus to mid 8 and various bridges at a single click from the 4 switches. The concept is to create a Post produce recording sound live. It allows for extreme dynamics and a lot of drama. The band is 3 pieces and every thing is rehearsed to precision. especially as I am 'IT' so to speak. lol Our audience is primarily new faces at most gigs. I have only one chance to make a first impression. So I do. The style ??? A reviewer described us as a band with a Sabbath vibe with a Prog Rock sensibility! Dead on!! He nailed it.
Sounds amazing and way beyond my current skillset. Thanks for sharing I'll look into those techniques you mention. I have a number of different boards but they tend to work in isolation.
Brilliant video Kev, i needed this.
Could I use a ab pedal to switch between two drive pedals that I don’t wnat on at the same time?
very useful video, my use case is baritone or bass VI guitars with signal split to guitar & bass amps
Sounds like a great way to use one
can you choose to choose A and B at the same time to play both amps at the same time ?
