@@rewiredhuman3347 there's different breeds of wasp. theres the southern wasp that is the traditional housewife with a racist husband that want her 'boys' to continue the family name. then there's upper west side wasps, that want to be beautiful forever, with distant rich husbands, and a disdain for whatever woman her son (who she speaks to only on the holidays) brings home, esp if she's anything but white and a graduate of yale/harvard/princeton.
@@Fifi-jb3yx Perfect description!😂
That part
@@Fifi-jb3yx heheh there are also cuccko wasp, they sting nicht.
“Todd, bring the car around.”
I particularly enjoyed that part
@@turn1210 I did as well
I just know she made todd stop on the way home to buy Chivas Regal.
Omg we need more of this character PLEEEAASSE!! 😆 The mannerisms of the way you were feeling your face and neck where so perfect and hilarious
She'll either hate the kid or spoil them rotten
"I'm a grandmother!" she screams as she starts touching her face and trying to smooth out her wrinkles, OOOOOF. This is just like my mother, it's the whole "don't you understand how old this is making ME SEEM?!"
My Grandma was like that.
I’m making my mom a grandma at 50, and this was her exact reaction 🤣
It’s narcissism
No mom, this is how old you are!😈
The pulling her skin back and up at “I’m a grandmother” was TOP NOTCH
This is how I picture my dad’s mother reacting to learning about me.
I feel Caitlyn would be a stellar dramatic actress as well. I find her facial expressions to be subtle and very well rendered. So good
"You're pregnant...with a child?"
No she's pregnant with a baby whale that will grow up to be a mermaid and marry a car.
Hot tip: thats a personal dream of mine that everyone should share!
that sounds like that could make up an anime plot
10/10, would watch it.
Cooooooool
When and where can I see this movie?
For real 😂
Notice she doesn’t ask any questions, such as when is the baby due, or how her daughter-in-law is feeling. Never mind saying congratulations.
Yup. This is so accurate. I LIVED this. Needless to say the woman isn’t inclined with her grandson. She just started asking to see him this year (He will be 2 on NYE!!!!). 🙄🙄🙄
@@sigmonkatie if it were me, I _might_ allow it but with heavy restraint 😳
Because this is a painful experience to be put through. I'm sorry you were expected to experience such a beautiful time without her.
Yeah well not everyone cares about people having crotch goblins
@@mg8642 its just polite?? thats literally her daughter in law carrying her grandbaby, youd think she gave more of a shit when in other skits we've seen shes so desperate to keep up the pretense of being a happy family lmfao
@@mg8642 but generally a mother would care about such a huge life event in her son’s life. Also, you were a crotch goblin once lol
This is phenomenal acting, in my opinion.
The fear and pain in her eyes. Great job.
“Todd bring the car around”
The expression, the delivery, just perfect
"are you keeping it" - the same person that thinks abortion is murder
Edit: bros calm down you maxed out the replies lmao
These WASP types don’t support abortion for OTHER people, but have low key gotten them for their own daughters or girls their sons knock up at some frat party
@@bryanalstoncoxing "Yes, but she _needs_ it. I'm not like these other sl*ts and baby killers here, my daughter just _can't_ have a baby right now, it's an emergency, she has a good reason."
The Only Moral Abortion is My Abortion.
No that's definitely a pro-abortion person
@SketchbookHR are you serious? That’s terrible. What a bunch of hypocrites.
I keep rewatching WASP mom series. My favourite! 😂
Your wasp moms are hilarious and accurate 😂😂😂😂
This was therapeutic for me thank you. This is my MIL. Her first words were, I'm kind of over babies. I'm not old enough to be a grandmother.
Bless you lol. I wish a mofo would. Hopefully you are alright. 💜🧡
Oh my goodness, that's terrible. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
😳 Jeez. May the forcé be with you.
@@tiffanyreyna6949 forcé
@@lindseyitamoto it's the fancy version 🧐
There's the other side of the WASP reaction to becoming a grandma where she makes the news completely about her and "HER" grandchild. Thats my mother-in-law & I dread the day I deal with that.
That's my mother. It's horrible. Get away from her. Move to another state. Even better, to another country. Put distance between her and your family. Fair warning.
Thats my mother-in-law. Fortunately, she's dying.
wtf is a WASP
Oh nooo..is there any hope of finding work in a far away state?
Do it now!
@@rorysaurusrex_ White Anglo Saxon Protestant mom
You are way too good at this
They way she made it all about her… 10/10 realism
"Okay, there are op--there are options. Okay..."
me when my cousin got pregnant
@@apseudonym that's kinda rude...
@@lj.853 not rude if her cousin is like 14
Lol. when she started to feel insecure and touched her face :"D
"omg a grandmother, my wrinkles must be about to come through" lol
"There are options..." LOL
My mother had her youngest child (me) at 39 and then she became a grandma at 49, she was still super happy to become a grandma even though she was so young and cried pure happy tears when my older brother and his wife told her the news.
I remember in elementary school I presented an article on a woman becoming a grandmother at 30 years old. Back then, that was not unheard of; not common of course but not that hard to get one's head around.
She's not accidentally clipping into the background, the WASP mom is trying to will herself out of the impending reality of being a GRANDmother
The way she looks like she’s on the verge of tears is just perfect
"there are some OPTIONS" not anymore 🎶💀
I had a pregnancy scare from a one night stand and my mom was still excited af. Idk if that’s good or bad but I felt supported lol
“I can’t be called grandma, I’m not old enough for that. Let see… Glammy!”
Underrated comment.
For real. The stupid names they come up with instead of "grandma" boomers man.
my fathers mother had me call her “glam-ma” 🙄
My grandmother was around 39 or forty when I was born. I have a very weird family tree. Basically every woman has gotten pregnant between 18 to 20. Except for me. I am dead set on not having kids for another ten years at minimum. Anyways, she didn’t want to be called grandma, so she decided I would call her Oma…… The German word for grandma…….. why? I don’t know. We are from Austrian immigrants, but bruh! Anyways, yes, she’s a super narcissistic boomer. My great grandmother embraced it and was just like, “I’m Granny.”
❄ The "child" may address me as Mrs Johnson. ❄
I still love how she specifies that the SON has some news for them, because she could care less about her daughter-in-law. either because shes only average pretty and wasp mom thinks shes not "good enough" for her sweet precious boy or because shes SO pretty that it just amplifies wasp mom's insecurities about her age and appearance lol! esp now that shes pregnant. any time theyre in the same room while DOL is pregnant, wasp mom is trying desperately to look away from her bc shes remembering how miserable her own pregnancy/marriage is in comparison to DOL who looks very happy with her son lmfao
I mean, this reads more like a teen pregnancy and her son went and knocked up some girl that wasp mom is *not* keen on.
Teen pregnancies aren’t usually revealed in a restaurant scene that implies the parents are being taken out. I think you’re getting teen pregnancy from the “you’re keeping it” lines and general surprise the mom shows, but that’s supposed to portray how some people can just be very passive aggressive.
@@turner15 Or maybe the Daughter in law is black, making wasp mom's grandson half black. The horror. 🙄
@@turner15 Late response,but I didn't get the idea of teen pregnancy in this.Many times,couple's(the woman)abort because they're aren't ready,for whatever reason there may be.
@@andreaslind6338 A wasp young man and a black girl? You live on another planet if you think that pair would ever happen.
“There are options.” Lololololol I’m DEAD. Deader than she wants that baby to be.
The smile falling at the end dude, THIS IS TOO ACCURATE
When's the wedding? Are you naming it after me? You know you should really baptize him at my church St. James, it'll look great for pictures.
Call me glamma
that's their convo for tomorrow's lunch
How she pulls her skin on her face and neck back and up in face lift motion as she’s contemplating being a grandmother soon is priceless 👌🏼😂
Love all your WASP mom vids. Hilarious 🎉
As soon as she realizes she’s gonna be a grandma, the hot flashes appear lol
You really nailed how this personality type is extremely proficient in making everything about themselves.
Yes.
::DING::
(Of course, this is the case with _all_ of her videos, which are variants of the same character.)
Narcissism
I dont understand when people say things like this. What makes her attitude being about herself?
wow you really showed this character making this hypothetical situation all about herself as evidenced by the line nothing at the nonexistent timestamp
“you're pregnant...with a child..?”
No with an ostrich
With the Eraserhead baby
