I have a very special hatred for hidden features, which has led me to sell all of the pedals I owned that had them. All it would take here is adding 2 small knobs. Life would be much simpler.
I tried not to make them too hidden. They are more like ALT+Features. It says ALT by the switch in white, and the parameters that are controlled are in white, like Tone and Decay. So yeah, hidden features may be a big drag for some, these are not completely hidden. They are printed right on the front in most cases. The order Switching feature is completely hidden from the front of the pedal...but it wouldn't ruin the enjoyment of the pedal if you didn't know.
Totally agree, I just can’t get on with secondary functions at all, makes me hate any pedal that has them even if I like the sound. I understand the logic of doing it on pedals with a lot of features trying to have a small footprint (like the Hydra), but on here there seems to be tons of room to have a dedicated decay knob at least.
One is reminded of the old Saturday Night Live satirical ad for the watch that took more than 2 hands to operate. But that's not what this is. There is a LOT of room between those kinds of pedals, with too much menu-diving, and bonehead 2-knob drive pedals with a single function. This one is much closer to a self-evident 3-knob pedal than you'd think. I imagine it *will* take a bit of use to remember what switch needs to be held down to get which additional function, but not that much. And bear in mind that more pots is more things to break down. When more and more pedals are jamming eensy weensy 9mm pots (with the black plastic shafts) into pedals, it's nice to have a big knob that's easy to see and read. I've commented on this in other places, but folks underestimate the usability of the sloped enclosures with the momentary switches so close to the front. Easily reachable and operable, with minimal ankle strain...if any at all. If they were another half-inch farther back, and in a flat enclosure that required the user to put their foot *over* the pedal, rather than simply rock/pivot their foot like they were using a wah, it would be a less performance-friendly design. There's ergonomics in there, folks! I might lower the switches on the one Robert is holding a little, but that's me. Nice work, Robert. Should I assume another Dream-based circuit?
@@markhammer643 Howdy Mark! Thanks for the kind words on the ergonomics. I am so happy you point that out, because it makes our pedals fun to play! The ALT features are labeled on the production versions. So, you don't have to remember where Decay or Tone is, it's labeled in white ink. Yes, it is the amazing Dream DSP. We've really dialed in our circuitry to the point where it performs better than its peers. I couldn't be happier. I really enjoy this simple form and the alt features. These are limited run pedals. Other future products may not have many alt features, if any at all.
Man, I love this form factor so much more than the Eccos, Hydra, etc. Looks great! What I would give for a remake of the 30ms Double Tracker in this form factor...
Nice one! Given that the enclosure now goes into regular production volumes, does it also mean we might get regular production of the Halo Core? Cheers from Brazil!
Howdy! Reduced feature set. (No shimmer, presets, exp cntrl, etc, etc) and we have made improvements to the sound quality over the past four years that is now evident. We've taken the same great sounds that are in the Hydra and engineered in a "wow factor"! ;-)
Awesome! Hey, does it have the hold function for the reverb like my Hydra? Love love love that. Wish we could control the blend volume on that.... Sometimes it's real low when I want to use that reverb hold as a pad
Halo Core was limited, because of the enclosure, meanwhile we have the Octathingamajig and the Zoma..... Any chance for a unlimited rerelease of the Halo Core, that's the only one Im interested in.
Hi im mahdi i love USA and Nashville ❤❤i think when i come in Nashville before going at honky tonk school i bought an halo with zoma and make it both with my zoom g1 four ❤❤🤘🤟🌟🌟🤘⭐❤️🎸🎸⭐🤘🌞🌞🌞😊
The Tremolo doesn't have that signal "deflection" if would have been nice to have a knob control to adjust the "deflection" of the tremolo. The Reverb just doesn't have that Splash and Drip to get those surf tones. Need more controls a splash control and drip control for the reverb. Come on Keeley you can do better than this
Another great pedal from one of the best to ever do it
thank you!
Fantastic, I shall go down to my local Keeley dealer and try one!
If you can't find at your local dealer, have them call Keeley and ask for Danny Black. Or, you can get it from our website, shipping today!
The GOAT Robert keeley!
Aww!

You’re silly.

This a stereo Wet/Dry Dream... LMMFAO Thank you again you beautiful M.F. human beings! 🤗
Thanks so much Moe!
The world needs a Zoma+Memory Man pedal so that can be my whole board
Yep, pretty much…..
A Zoma and a Halo might get ya there! ;-)

Amazing!
Thank you, this looks great. And so, is this a Flint killer?
I may sell my v1 for this, a nice plus that the flint has gone up in value this past year.
Everything nice, just one question: it's possible have it black¿
Great idea! I'd like to see a blackout Zoma next time too!
Robert - what is the difference between this and the Hydra?

❤👍
now you have a better factory, can you improve the 'reverse reverb' effect on the Loomer so it sounds EXACTLY like the SPX-90 and not some other crap.
🎛💖👊🏽
A brand new Keeley reverb & trem or a brand new JHS reverb & delay. Decisions, decisions!

Hey, another copy of the Flint that I won’t buy! Congrats!
