This was when I first started the channel. I appreciate your feedback. A lot has changed since then with production. Perhaps I will revisit this adapter in a future video
Of course it's good. I use it for about 2 or 3 years, hooked it up to my Akai AA8080 reciever via rca wire and it sounds really decent. One of my friends has Klipsch the Sixes with BT which supports aptx and complains it cuts highs, but he likes how this Logitech sounds.
Thanks!!!! You just saved me some money. I just realized from your video I don't need a bluetooth adapter. I can use the USB port on my pioneer receiver to plug my mp3 player into to listen to my music.
Have had one of these for years and used it on many older amps that I've owned. Recently dug it out the draw again as I bought a projector. Used it to send audio from the projector from a Firestick to my powered monitor speakers at front of room. Works perfectly without any lag. Good quality sound but most things sound good on my JBL 308 monitors. Connects as soon as I turn it on. Has definitely come in handy over the years. Sturdy build quality.
This is the product, I had sorta decided to buy for my Denon UD-M31. But it ain’t Sorta anymore- I’ve ordered one, great review, like the 3.5 / RCA combo. Barnie 👍
You use Denon with this Chinese product? LOL.. It's like if you use HDTV TV with VHS recorder... Itis a Chinese product with Logitech brand but no Logitech technology. If you can, try to use Ifi Zen blue V2 if you want a very good sound with Sabre Zss dac.. You're welcome...
Ya, not happy with this product at all! I bought it to replace my other Bluetooth adapter that only holds a 3 hour charge only to figure out this device needs to be plugged in to work. Once it’s plugged in there is no on/off switch so it will stay connected until you unplug it. So annoying!
I have a yamaha 5 channel av receiver hooked up with two floor pioneer speakers. If I get two Bluetooth speakers to put in the ceiling will this device work for sound connecting the ceiling speakers with the receiver and the Two other speakers ?
Good review, how do you find the output level in comparison with the other inputs? Is it similar to say a CD player or tuner level or is it much lower? Asking because if you change from bluetooth to other source you may find usual sources blast out in comparison and you have to fiddle with the volume too much as you switch inputs.
@@craigwilson118 Good to know. Since I'm going through a mixing board, I can get it to the level it needs. Have you noticed any impedance mismatch with this? I could go into the CD/Tape input or into the mic input with a level trim on in.
@@markrobby7136 This is just advice after all. This device was very low end two years ago so now... Have you even tried any others? Super cool little 8 channel mixer and great for out door small band shoes etc. I'm hoping by plugging that blue tooth thingamajig in I'll be able to play tune from my smart phone! The new systems have built in blue tooth capability. Should work right? Rca connections
I've tried something similar on my Samsung flatscreen TV. You'll get a delay echo on newer stuff. Vizio is horrible on that. The soundbar with bluetooth was out of sync with the TV speakers. I guess this thing may have that delay too. They make an optical version in another brand that'll sync closer.
Its bluetooth connectivity is so very agressive. It overrides any other Bluetooth connection around thus it is quite annoying. I quite often have to plug off its adapter to stop annoyances it causes.
1Mii B06 but you can try the best Bluetooth product with Sabre Dac inside like Ifi Zen Blue V2. It's wonderful sound but if you h2vr😮only mp3, 1mii will be good but if you have Flac 16/48 or even 24/96, its Ifi Zen Blue V2.
Is there any feed back with power line connected. I had bought a Tao Tronics 5.0 bluetooth transmitter reciever and when power line is connected there is a distinct buzzing noise. Only hold a 2 hour charge when disconnected. The sound then is clear.
No, if the amp is on and connected to source there is no noise from this. Only when everything else is switched off does this emit a small, but distinct, whine... so I always have to switch it off at the wall when finished.
I have a question I have. Logitech z906 what is the best way to make it. So I don’t have to use cables ? I was thinking about that one u show here but. Is there better ?
Recently I've been thinking of buying and AV receiver, but the so far the only 5.1 speakers I have are the Logitech z506. I was racking my brains when I learned the receiver and speaker won't connect but I wonder if this gadget will make that possible.
I have a Yamaha PA system that I want to hook up for music to jam with while playing my guitar. It'll go through a Behringer mixing board to the PA system. It'll give me the opportunity to play oddball tracks someone may request that I don't own a copy of. This thing doesn't have a pause, mute, and skip like on my bluetooth speaker, but I can work around that. 🎵🎶🐀🐾
I just hooked this up and seems to work good. But after about hours use. It starts breaking up and eventually stops playing. On which I have to disconnect the BT and re boot ? Any ideas ? Also my cell is on WiFi and within 5 feet of the device
I have one and it's never done this, Maybe return it for another one if possible. I do think it has slightly lower output than other traditional inputs. But does work as intended.
I would love if someone can figure out hot to remove the pairing noise . Every time I connect. As as ingot this connected to monitor speakers and as U know they run full ball. And man it's hearing damage every time it connects or dissconects
Hi, I have a JVC amp/receiver with a regular EU ac outlet (max 250v) in the back to power the CD player. Would it be possible to put the adapter of the logitech in there so it's only powered when the amp is on? Or am I missing something here?
It should work, but you may get a loud pop when it first comes on. It also takes around 5 seconds to boot up, so you'll get a delay before music plays. I would power it on a power strip and turn on the amp afterwards.
I got one recently. It seems well made and has low noise. Output is lower than other devices like tuner. Audio is crisp and clear but missing something... hard to say because I've just got my system out of storage after 5 years and only have a 40yr old tuner to compare it to. Logitech seems to be lacking a warmth and depth compared to my tuner and what I remember CDs sounding like on my system. Been just using the Bluetooth for a few weeks and something was making me wonder if I needed a sub or the larger room was affecting the sound, but as soon as I plugged in the tuner the speakers sounded as I remembered. Perhaps this is as good as Bluetooth gets? I don't know yet, but for £25 I will not complain and it is very convenient.
It baffles me how a company such a Logitech weren’t able to deduce the fact that maybe a power button might be worthwhile yet essential. This piece of shit continues to pair with my phone DESPITE disconnecting it. I will not fight with its limitations, I’m simply shoving it in a drawer and buying a superior 5.0 from Amazon WITH a power button. A simple yet effortless addition Logitech couldn’t achieve.
What they mean… it takes in sound, but unless your headphones are able to choose what they connect to, you can’t connect to it. It can’t just auto lock on a device, for obvious reasons, so you need a device like a phone to connect to it
I have a Marshall 30 watt guitar amp with a CD input. You can plug it into that. The output jack is labeled "emulated line out & headphone." I'm guessing you can do it, but you need a 1/4" jack headphone to listen to your guitar playing with streaming music I guess.
I was so new to UA-cam I had no clue what I was doing production wise back then. However the device itself is fairly self explanatory. You plug the RCA outputs into your integrated or pre amplifier and connect via Bluetooth. Sounds like Bluetooth... 😉
