Samsung by chance? My instructions say to ‘cut and discard ground strap’ which makes no sense to me. To discard the ground strap is to remove the entire strap. To cut it is a different thing. If you do cut it, where do you cut it? It’s completely insane to me that engineers wrote these specs

Why would my breaker be tripping if my oven is wired as shown? I was thinking it was a ground issue so I removed the copper strip but it's still tripping.

Don't unless you change the wiring. If you change the outlet without changing the wire, you create a dangerous violation.

There should be some screws holding the piece on. Look for some screws.
