- Oral Roberts looked primed for another upset with another great game from Max Abmus, but Devonte Davis' jumper with 2.9 seconds left was enough to lift Arkansas, 72-70. The Razorbacks advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time since 1995. Watch the extended highlights here.

I was at a truck stop in tx outside of dallas, watching with an older guy.....couldn't tell who he was going for until the last 3 mins of the game but, afterwards he told me how he'd kept up with the hogs since 1971! I wanted to jump and scream maybe even cry a bit like i would if i was home but, it was worth it getting call from my mom hearing her sing the hogs are in the final four before i explained that we had a to go rumble with baylor first!
Hats off to ORU. They got mis seeded somehow cuz there's no way that's a 15 seed
They’re from the summit league bruh and for most of the year there were a few teams in the conference better than them so they’re rightly seeded it’s Jsut that absmas and obannor weren’t faced by the big programs and continued to play well.
It’s a possibility that they where not rightly seeded. With that being said I don’t think that Arkansas was seeded correctly either. Arkansas at best should’ve been a 5 or 6 seed!

What’s crazy is Arkansas is yet to have a complete game. The only thing they’ve done consistently well is shoot FT’s, make great second half adjustments and play great second half defense! Ark has been horrendous from 3pt land and has yet to play a decent first half.
If they can ever put together even a decent overall and consistent game...they’ll be a tough out.

Want a recipe for success? The last 3 great teams to advance deep in the playoffs signed a great recruiting class but mostly brought in a ton of seniors from the portal. Texas Tech and Arkansas do it perfectly.

Hogs have won in spite of not playing well 3x in a row. IF they actually play an average good game Monday, they have a chance. If not, Baylor will win going away. That said, Go Hogs!!!

Great game all around, hard fought. My question is after seeing this: What does this tournament run do for Max Abmas's draft stock? He played all the minutes (Obanor too), and he showed out. He can get to the lane and finish, he can shoot, and he was getting around the defense. Fact: he and Steph Curry are the only 2 guys to score 25+ points in their first three games in the NCAA tournament. That's a feat. I wonder what NBA scouts think of him. I see NBA potential in Abmas. Anyone else agree?

The NCAA tournament has forsure helped Max Abmas's draft value. But to what end? Hard to say. He has led the whole league in scoring this year, but he's also had a very generous green light. He's a quick guard, but also small, and not outrageously athletic. I see him going mid-late first round tbh. He's a good player, but his ceiling isn't too high.

All seeding was off cause there was no out of conference play it was hard to see what teams could really do I think ORU shoulda been way higher seeded

The Razorbacks have just BARELY won their last two tournament games against teams that had far more regular season losses than they did.
Two teams that actually had golden opportunities at the very end to send the Hogs home, but came up short.
Arkansas is going to have to dig much deeper and harder against Baylor, or else their dream team season is going to finally come to an end.

But when you're ranked 6th in the nation and you barely beat a team that lost more than 10 games during the regular season, that's a sign of weakness.
Baylor is 25-2 and the number one ranked team in the tournament.
That alone is a psychological defeat for the Razorbacks that they may or may not be able to overcome.
