But Arkansas won I'm not gonna say they didn't win, cuz they did. But in the tourney AU will be very dangerous while Arkansas might be very good still not as deep though. Imo

Dude really ? Bud Walton has always been like this, and Barnhill before it. It's called the basketball palace of mid-america, for a reason. I'd even say top three hardest places to win as the visitors, next to Chapel Hill, Duke.

Man I remember when I was a kid in the 90's Arkansas was a force in hoops, they went the natty twice, winning one and went to the final four like 4 or 5 times. I think they have 6 final 4's overall. They truly can be a beast in hoops with the right coach. (Huge loud arena, their state produces 5 star players every year, fans love hoops, etc).
I grew up loving Todd Day. Scotty Thurman and Big Nasty are my All Time Faves tho. Muss has been doing good and his next year's class is gonna be awesome!! We definitely have the talent in the State just gotta keep em in state. WPS!

I think it’s safe to say the SEC will be the dominant conference for years to come. both basketball and football now. the ACC and Big East used to be on top every time but after seeing some of these close games at least 6 teams would be a legitimate threat in the tournament. Alabama is a perfect example, only problem is they live and die on the 3.

Good game by Arkansas. Auburn main flaw is they have a lot of ball hogs on offense that don't like to pass it
That lanky one (Jabari I think)that kept hitting 3s to keep it close had me sweating

Pearl has sets like a hockey team and He let's them be them, have fun mostly it's not about ball hogging, it's just plays for people like Jabari in low post to take his man 1on1 or he let's Wendell drive or kd and it works when they need a foul, a big shot. The problem was Flanigan and cambridge's lack of defense and zep wasn't there. If zep was there it probably would've been 4 OTs lol and an Auburn win. But arkansas won it is what it is. They both played great I can't complain really as an AU fan. Auburn had chances just can't win em all.
@@chrishoward1378 doubtful zep is a decent bench player, maybe if more of the starters showed up but auburn is only as deep as Kessler and smith, and if auburns bench actually did something they would have won.

Great win for Arkansas. Good loss for Auburn. Kept it close without our best defender in that atmosphere. We will be just fine come tournament time. I think one more loss before the end of the season.

I imagine the refs intentionally didn't count it to avoid a situation where time needed to be put back on the clock. Would have been impossible with the court rush. So, either way they were like screw it let's get out of here.

The level of ignorance in the comments about how Auburn is "overrated" or "got exposed" is overwhelming. 2 losses on the season, both of which were in OT. Game could've easily gone Auburn tonight if not for some dumb mistakes down the stretch. It's actually a perfect time for a loss or two. Teams lose steam after winning for so long.
