I lived here from 77-83 Miss the little town with the big bridge. Went to school here played baseball for the VFW. Lived at the Trailer park down past the launch. Spent days on the Levies. Thanks for the walk around im headed back soon! The block building was a Peoples Bank and across the street my mother worked at the Tap Room as i hung out playing shuffle board and video games

In the 1960's, my family would bring our boat down to the Bay from Philly. I remember a place called Schaffer's which sold gas & supplies by the bridge.

I found your video here by chance and loved it❤ Here's hoping you both have many more wonderful anniversary's 😊
I luved seeing the little light houses in the shop and all the 'goodies'. The little bunk beds. I buy kits of homes, shopes but then take stuff from the different kits and make different homes, shops -- Why just copie other's designs? Many have lighting.
In my windows sills are the really small miniature homes, shops, little restaurants, little lighthouses made from plaster & tiney people made of clay. It's fun to do especially in the winter instead of watching telly all the time, that and sewing by hand.
Do you guys do any crafts? Or hobbys?
If you visit the Concord Point Lighthouse, Maryland -- I live not far from there. At Christmas time the lighting is beautiful.
Oh, and there's a really cool junk store (antique store) that once was a home.
In town is a really nice bar/restaurant. That place is from the 1700's or very early 1800's. You can drink/eat inside or outside in the courtyard. They aren't open on Tuesdays.
There are two Inns there were super old homes. The nice lady owns a super beautiful all big made stone Victorian. She was kind enough to show me the private back where it use to house horses, now the once carriage house is a cozy place to stay while visiting.
You walk into the living room that has a fireplace, to the right is a small 'kitchen', a bathroom & a spiral staircase to a big but cozy bedroom. The nice lady brings you breakfast if you'd like.
I got my 1860's dresser from the other two homes one next to the other green painted Victorian homes' Inn. The food is to die for, really yummy!!!
AND !!! IF you guys would like to re-up the marriage vows they have a beautiful place in that Victorian home to do it. At night it's cozy on the portch with with the pretty but dim lights.
I really luv the Concord Point Lighthouse & the Keeper house across the street. The ghosts there are frindly. One ghost lady watches the 4th of July Fireworks from her top window. You can only see her if your lucky when you take pictures at the window & you have better luck doing that if you look up & quietly ask if you can take her picture.
Oh my, sorry for rambling on. That's what ya get after kissing the Blarney Stone. The lady that went before me lost her wig in a tree and wanted someone to climb the tree to fetch her wig ! It might still be up there 😂
Take care and if you visit we have a candy shop & an ice cream store ( all hand made goodies) they're right across the street from one another. And in summer a free tram comes by and goes about our little town & the lighthouse. "See ya!"

Chesapeake City is a great town. Even by car from Harford County etc. Thanks as always for the great content.

I have driven over that bridge countless times and this is the first time I’ve ever been in the town. We will be going back for sure.

Love your videos. The furthest north I've been is up the Sassafras to Skip jack Cove twice and once to Sassafras Harbor Marina. I will definately be visiting Chesapeake City this coming season.
